Is he the best player for the other team? More often the not yes. He was the Steelers offense for them today!

I cannot believe how far he has fallen. Granted, he was going against a top ten defense today...but he has never been the same since that injury against the Steelers in the playoffs a few years back.

No he really hasn't. Even last year he was a non-factor as the ran the ball most of the time.

He went to the Pro Bowl in 2006. He was never that good to begin with, he just had a stacked offense around him those years that created the illusion of stardom. LOL, I remember when homers tried to claim he was as good or better than Brady and Manning. He's not even close to as good as Eli.

Someone needs to look up what the record for pick sixes cuz he has to be close. And as bad as the bengals have been they are 1-7 in games decided by 8pts or less so they've been competitive losers.

I've defended him in past years, but the jig is up. Time for both sides to get a divorce

The Bengals last win was on Sep 26th, The Reds last win was on Oct 3rd. At this point Reds will win another game before the Bengals

I am very frustrated with this team this year. Carson has not been the same since the knee injury and it also looks like he can no longer throw the deep ball very well. I think the Bengals brass needs to clean house this offseason and maybe draft a QB in the mid to late rounds this year.

He's a f'ing joke. 18 interceptions this year? He needs benched or traded. Instant offense yes...for the other team.

The only problem with that is that our backup is his younger brother...who happens to worse than Carson is haha. Nepotism at its' finest.
I agree with another poster. Let's flush all the turds and start over.

jordo...why not give his brother a shot? It couldn't get any worse.

Yes. It could. Jordan Palmer wasn't even that spectacular when he was in college at UTEP.jordo...why not give his brother a shot? It couldn't get any worse.
Plus he hasn't shown much in his limited playing time.

I really think they have a great shot to get Andrew Luck. I think he will be the only QB out of this draft that has pro bowl potential. I just hope he can throw the ball 50 yards from his knees or he may slide to the 3rd or 4th round.

It's official. Carson Palmer is a bust. He hasn't even won a playoff game. Wasn't he a 1st overall pick? LOL.

clean house? I dont think so. I think we are a decent qb away from being a very good team. The pieces are definitely there. The defense isnt playing good, but are hammered with injuries

Bengals need a new Head Coach, New Offensive Coordinator and a QB in this draft to push Palmer because it's obvious he don't really have any competition behind him. Marvin gave up a few games ago just like the rest of the offense and that also has to fall on Bratkowski and his Junior High play calling. Because how can you honestly justify 3rd & 10 or 3rd & 15 and continually drawing up plays were your best option falls 8-10 yards shy of the 1st Down? I'd say make a STRONG push for Gruden, although it's probably highly unlikely but it's worth a shot. And Keep Zimmer as Defensive Coordinator because despite having pretty much all of the defense out with injuries they played their hearts out today and limited Pittsburgh to 9 points on the road, Carson just gave them 14. With this O-Line why not take a chance on Newton or a QB that can make plays happen when the pocket collapses?

Any chance that the Bengals try and talk Jim Harbaugh into coming to the NFL? I mean it's worth a shot. Now sure how many "big name" coaches will come here.
