You'll notice after all those years of going after offensive players, Detroit FINALLY decided to draft some defense, and they are immediately better for having done so.
If the Browns were to somehow trade for Johnson (they wouldn't do it, because it would likely cost them a first round draft choice), they'd definitely NOT draft a top WR in the first round. The DL needs help since too many of the guys there are getting older. A RT/G also has to be near the top of the wish list, along with another CB.

Exactly. Forget it Brown fans he will not be going to Cleveland. He said he wants to win.

Put him in Cleveland's lineup. Add with another year's draft and FA, and you have a legit contender. So, it wouldn't be a lateral move as mentioned above.
But it isn't gonna happen. It would cost a 1st round pick and he only has 2 years left on his contract.
