Not a problem, I though it was obvious on what I was saying.

Big Gain;593594 wrote:NO HE HAS NOT. Do your home work. In 10 years at Ohio State Tressel has NEVER lost 5 regular season games, BEFORE the bowl games.

#1 Proves you're an ugly mouthed juvenile teenie.Tobias Fünke;593621 wrote:1- Go fuck yourself.
2- You didn't say at Ohio State, you said "Tressel has never had 5 losses in the regular season," which is entirely false. But first, may I ask how that is the measure of a better coach? I mean I really want to know what goes on inside that tiny little brain of yours that would somehow get you to think one coach is better than the other because one had five losses in the regular season. I mean really, are you in the sixth grade? See if you can comprehend this: 41-14.
For what it's worth, Jim Tressel has had five losses in the regular season four times. Do your own fucking homework child.

My point? Just like you, nothing more than presenting facts for others to peruse and employ. What was your intent? Surely not just to convince someone to favor one coach over another right? Are your facts random? Are your facts without reason? Don't you think both Meyer and Tressel are very good coaches? Might they not be 1 and 2 over the past decade?enigmaax;594336 wrote:But I guess, since we are just throwing out facts, this might be relevant:
Meyer, 46, is the country's winningest active coach (percentage) with 10 seasons or more, posting 103 victories against just 23 losses for a .817 winning percentage in his 10 seasons. He reached 100 wins in 118 games, the second-fastest number of games to reach the century mark since 1945. Overall, only five coaches reached the 100-win mark quicker.
He is the first coach in the history of the Football Bowl Subdivision to post back-to-back 13-win seasons (2008 and 2009) and is the only coach to record three 13-win seasons in a four-year span.

BTW, since you broached the subject, are you sure about the winningest active coach (percentage) with 10 seasons or more?? Tressel in his 10 years as a Div1 coach, 105 victories against just 22 losses for a .827 winning percentage. Tressel reached 100 wins in 121 games, all at a Top 10 football school.
Meyer's 6 years at a Top Ten football school, 64-15 .810. Tressel in the same 6 year period at a Top 10 football school, 65-11 .832. Tressel was the first coach at a Div1 school to go 14-0 in a season.
