At least someone like S&L who may not be the most intelligent poster on here adds something funny or cool every now and then. The biggest thing is that if you are looking for intelligent post all the time, that just isnt going to happen on any message board unless you go on a banning spree like the old site has done and even then you still have horrible posters like AAF.
I think someone has a mancrush on S&L. LOL

Some of you are getting way to defensive over a website. Kayo just wrote the truth and some are taking it to heart. It makes you wonder. Some of the responses are as if Kayo insulted your own mother.

well, #1, unless you are already a longtime member, you wouldn't even know the content of the website besides looking at the forum listing.

#2 Traffic rankings have it as the #54 forum in the WORLD, so obviously this model works.

#3 There aren't many things on the internet that I think are "great".

BTW, just about EVERY meme you have ever seen has originated on 4chan or offtopic.com.

At one point Hitler and many others believed that being a Nazi was great, but it actually wasn't. It didn't work out well for them either.

Nice try. How about this, if you don't like it here... leave

Problem is, that website brings in $850k+ per year in ad revenues, pays their moderators $65k per year and has been around for almost 10 years.

Comparing the success of boards that permit strong language to Nazis. I applaud this use of logic and reasoning to create an analogy between two VERY equal things.

Now if you'll excuse, I'm off to the college football forum to make a comparison between Notre Dame and the movie C.H.U.D.

Don't be so sensitive.

Good for them. I guess offtopic.com should be the ultimate GREAT website because of their ad revenues.

How about this...if you like it so much over on offtopic.com then go there...and stay.

And what the hell was the problem? Did you just add that in to sound important?

I believe you were the one bitching. If you don't like a website that allows cussing, go fucking find one that doesn't.

Problem is....the comparison wasn't in the substance of the two, but in how the term "great" was being thrown around.

Hey genius....go find me a post where I specifically said I didn't like the cussing. Also, show me the post where I was bitching. Can you do that for me?

Was it not the subject of the post that Kayo typed? I believe so. Don't respond to a post in which your other website disagrees with if you don't actually believe it. Now, that's a good job.
