Whens the last time Pitt was relevant? They should be they play in a major city, hs football in PA is as good as anywhere and they play at Heinz field.

Speilman was talking about how much they hated him in lincon today.

Radio reports today are saying Pitt may approach Tom Bradley at Penn State. He's a Pittsburgh native who kills in recruiting Western PA and surrounding areas. IMO, it could happen, he's been waiting for Joe Pa to retire for 30 years and might be fed up with the wait.

Tom Bradley would be a good get. Although I think he is already secretly the head coach at Penn St

The Bradley angle would be interesting. Would the threat of Bradley going to Pitt force the Pitt AD to push JoePa out the door like FSU did with Bobby Bowden?

The Pitt faithful are high on Dana Holgorsen, the OC at Oklahoma State. His former stops include Texas Tech and UH. Everywhere he has been, high octane offenses have followed. Some other people to keep an eye on is Teryl Austin (Florida DC and Pitt grad) and Frank Cignetti (Pitt's current OC).

Marvin Lewis was asked in a phone presser yesterday if he was interested in the Pitt job, his reply, "Move on". To me, that's not no.
