Tomorrow night at 9:30. A win vs Kentucky would be huge for the Irish as they have gonzaga next. These next 2 games will tell us a lot about nd

Hansbrough for ND is lighting it up. UK is up 19-18 so far. Both are looking good.

Pretty good half for nd. I thought they controlled kentuckys quickness very well except for the last 4 min. Scott needs to step it up on the offensive end to give nd an inside presence

Is this game really being played at Freedom Hall???

That would be like Carolina playing a game at CIS against someone other than Dook......WTF

Yeah, definitely weird. I think they played a game there last year as a "neutral" site game too.

I really don't get it...

And what is even worse is that Louisville let UK bring their own court in....

I realize Louisville has the new Pitino Palace or whatever they are calling it, but damn.

Was that on here where someone posted the pics of Cooley and Gody next to each other or was it somewhere else? Remarkable resemblance.

UK shut ND down in the 2nd half. ND might of shot under 20% the 2nd half. Its a good thing Hansbrough's flame burned out. Jones with a huge night while Knight had a decent game also.

L'Ville is probably getting a hefty pay day...which probably eases their disdain for the whole ordeal.

The game is at Freedom Hall because of the fanbase UK has there. There are probably more UK fans in the city than UL fans and the Cats have played a home game there every year for years. Louisville, the university, doesn't get anything from it because they don't own Freedom Hall, and now, they don't even play there. It's just another relocated home game for Kentucky and they don't lose anything from it because they sell it like a Rupp game.

The only thing it does for Louisville fans is usually piss them off when they see their former arena decked out in blue. If they had a home game at Rupp it might draw 10K...if that, and that makes them salty.

Gotcha.

Did Louisville own the arena when they used it?

I noticed that last night. I was playing video games and has this game on the other TV, looked up and was like, "WTF?!? I thought he finally graduated last year!!!" And then realized that Notre Dame's secret cloning facility simply had created a new Harangody prototype to replace the original.

Is Rupp still attached to the mall? I remember when I was younger, my brother was playing in the BIT(Bluegrass Invitational Tournament) soccer tournament in Lexington(ish) and we stayed in the Hyatt(I believe) that was attached to a mall and Rupp. We got to sneak looks into the arena, pretty neat.

Yeah, it's actually a part of the Lexington Center, which also contains the mall, the Lexington Opera House, and the convention center. The Hyatt is attached to that and then Triangle Park is right outside.
