If he is making the decisions on who to start at QB, I agree. With the set up of the organization now, it is hard to know who is responsible for what.

The 2nd and goal from the 2 in the 1st goal that resulted in a FG was huge factor in this game.

Browns had 187 total yards when Buffalo gives up almost 400 per game.

I totally agree with this. I like what Mangini has done so far, but in the end the job of the head coach is to put his team in the best position to win and he's not doing that if he thinks Jake is a better option then Colt

I really don't think firing Mangini is the right route to take. Keep him one more year and see what he can do, but give him even less control (i.e. holmgren/lerner/hackert forcing him to bench failhome).

At least get rid of Daboll. That guy is awful

The 20 yard line or so.

Mangini is building a good football culture. Changing head coaches again sets the team back.

It was discussed on the WKNR pre game show today, keep Mangini as the head coach, hire Gruden as the OC.

Hillis's fumbling problem is starting to approach the level of Braylon's drops when he was here. He has now put it on the ground 8 times in 13 games. That is just completely unacceptable for a running back in the NFL.

If Mangini can't put the best guys on the field then he has to go. I've been a supporter of Mangini since last year, but enough is enough. Derek Anderson is better than Jake Delhomme. There is no justification for him playing in an NFL game.

I am fine with Mangini unless he is not putting the best players on the field. Right now...that might be the case. Delhomme would not start for one other club in the NFL except for maybe Arizona.

Yeah, I can see Gruden coming to a losing team and be an assistant to an imbecile head coach who will keep pitching Jake Delhomme to him.

Gruden wouldn't lower himself to come to the Browns and be an asst. coach

Oh yeah, his ass should be fired before getting on the plane back to Cleveland.

Mangini won't fire Daboll, who should never have been allowed back this year after over seeing the worst offense in the league last year. He falls in love with his guys (like Delhomme) and then refuses to part with them no matter how much it hurts the team. For that he has to go, because it will keep the Browns from ever really taking that next step from Mediocre to legit contender.

Good thing it's not mangini's decision.

So I'm guessing after this L, Cleveland is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs?

I've supported Mangini as well, but if Seneca Wallace was healthy today, and Delhomme still got the start, it's time for Mangini to go. That's just unacceptable. Let's be honest though, a loss today helps the Browns much more than a win would, in the long run.

I would think so. You pretty much needed 10-6, but no way 8-8 gets you in.

This team was not going to the playoffs to begin with.
