Would the Saints even have ever snapped it on the 4th and 2 play, or would they have taken a delay of game or time-out just to try for the off-sides?

Nice Carson just wasted 10 secs. 6 secs left a heave to the endzone forthcoming.

that was the best 17 seconds possible for the Bengals

until they let six extra seconds tick off not calling the timeout

I was hoping they'd win for the parlay but also because they're overdue for a win facing the Steelers next week

Bad clock management by Carson by not taking time-out right away at 14 sec. He had visions of spiking, then a pass halfway to the goal in the middle of the field and using the last TO, then a 20 yd shot at the game winning TD pass. But there wasn't that much time left, and by waiting to call the TO he left only one long shot at the game winning pass play, when he could have called it right away and had at least two shots at the 40 yd pass for a TD.

No way in hell were the Saints going to snap the ball. They got what they intended to do. Just Bungals being Bungals.

I'm not disappointed with the loss at all. We're terrible this year, and we can only hurt ourselves by winning at this point. Let's go get Andrew Luck!

The announcing crew said the Saints had NO intention of snapping the ball. For every 50 times a team runs that play the Bungles just assured it will be tried 50 more times now.
