So I decided to stay in tonight, figured I would flip on SNL. Wow, does Kenan Thompson SUCK. How does this fat, witless turd have a job again? Watching some "What's up wit dat?" skit, and I want to punch myself in the balls.

George Lopez.

I watched his show by accident one night. His jokes are less original and more obvious than Jay Leno jokes.

I'll probably get hammered for this, but I have never understood what people see in Conan O'Brien. I just don't like that "uncomfortable" style of humor. It's like he tries to be self-deprecating, but he's not very good at it.

I could totally understand where you're coming from because (even though I think he is very funny) I could totally see where others (like my parents) could not get his sense of humor. Conan is so un-like Jay Leno. His strength isn't telling jokes (something that a writing staff can do for you), his strength is being funny (whether it be through self-deprication or improv based on an interview/audience member/event. Either you think that form of humor is funny or you don't. Unlike a joke teller where you could find one joke funny and another not so funny.

I understand your point, but I don't particularly care for Leno either. I just don't like his delivery. He always has to add some little comment or sound at the end of each joke that I think just takes away from the joke.

I always like Johnny Carson, and not so much for his jokes, but because of his facial expressions. He was actually funnier when one of his jokes bombed and he made fun of himself. His self-deprecating humor just seemed more natural or believable.

I used to like Letterman for his cynical humor, but I think he has jumped the shark, his humor and attitude has become too cynical even for me.
Another guy I think is just naturally funny is Craig Ferguson. His jokes may not always be great, but his reaction to them is usually hilarious.

chelsea handler....she apparently has a show on E!. Anyhow, I was forced to watch her standup last night....terrible. I wanted to cut my balls off with a dull blade

Agreed. I've never thought Conan was very funny.

I'll also agree with the OP--Kenan is horrible. [sarcasm]Ever since Kenan and Kel, he's just gone downhill. [/sarcasm].

I've never seen her stand up act, but her show is actually fairly entertaining.

I don't care what his last nation wide tour says he sucked balls as a wrighter on SNL all the way up to present, the same network that Lopez is on ( which a few others say sucks ) was the only network that wanted his sorry ass. The last funny thing he did was the Bud commercial. Sorry if you get all butt hurt cause I dont like your comedian I don't know what to tell you except get over it or get fucked i really dont care
