I think making fun of a fan base that DOES NOT support their team would be a more appropriate thing to do. These are things that people say when THEIR school gets no support.

All those coaches must be dummies to pass on what YOU perceive to be a great talent. The reality is he is not a MAJOR league talent. He may be Mr. Football according to some voters, but the guys who judge football talent for a living aren't buying it much. He'll play at a Cincy or a MAC but won't be a star. And lets get real, the kid is 5'6-5'7 and maybe 170. Maybe.

I'm not in Ohio so may I ask who are 'the voters' for that award ? local media ? Its understandable a kid could have a winning year and not project because of size. They wouldn't vote for a kid who had no stats but might project to have a bag full of big college offers. This award goes to the player with the best single season right ?

WOOBALL i meant i didn't mention him going to OSU just my OPINION about him winning the award. TO all the DOVER people that can't get it for the LAST time my post have NOTHING to do with ZACH not going to OSU. Maybe you just can't get past that PERFORMANCE he put on those swirling winds that makes you hate him. To lhslep134 I don't live vicariously through high school athletes.

Just want to make this clear, if you have seen Teague LIVE then you know he can play at OSU or MAJOR D1.

I'M from the WCAL.......I have absolutely no connection to this kid at all............I have seen him play just 3 times...If this kid keeps his head screwed on straight and devotes himself 100% to his studies and Football....You will see him achieve great things in his lifetime on the field in college and possibly further.......I know this is a stretch right now but i need to remind everyone that Barry Sanders (the best running back ever in my mind) was only 5' 8" and 200 LBS..........Akise has the same tools as Barry did on the field....but does Akise have the same tools Upstairs also?.......Akise ....Walk the straight and narrow and you will go very far...I promise you that............

False. Caring too much is pathetic.

What? This doesn't even make sense. My 2 (now 3) posts on this thread are the only times I've posted on the high school forum, I just wanted to come on here and congratulate a fellow Youngstownian on winning Mr. Football and instead I see another person from Steubenville once again proving my point that the only thing going for them and only thing they care about is high school sports.

WTF does post count have anything to do with anything?

No, what's pathetic is when fans don't support their school/team, and make comments like yours. But then when their team has a great year, all of a sudden attendence goes up.

I notice the words written under your username....Looks like you may care too much.

Because I've kept the same name since high school when I joined the original huddle 7 years ago.

Entirely possible. I'm psyched that the Cats landed him!
