Ok. I look at the first page and I dont see a single Bengals vs Saints game thread. The Browns game thread already has close to 50 comments.

I'm not comparing Cleveland and Cincy, I'm just saying this thing would happen with alot of fans.

Tribe threads used to be packed when the Tribe had a soid team, now its a ghost town
Reds threads were the same way until last year.

Thats just how it goes. There were also alot of Judas fans and not Cavs fans. I'm glad those people are gone

I wasn't being negative at all. I was just pointing out that you guys are the real Cavs fans. There are a ton of guys running their jibs all season about how Cleveland was going to do this, Lebron was going to do that, but they're all gone now. I tip my caps to you guys.

Again though, who cares? The Cavs are never going to win a title. I love the Cavs, but I'm a realist.

There is a reason why two teams have won over half the damn titles in the NBA. I'm just going to ask for a fun, exciting team to watch. Iggy gives us that. Just make it to the playoffs :)

How can you tell that the Cavs will "never" win a title?

Iggy would definitely help. I see him as another Vince Carter. A guy who relies on dunking, driving to the rack, and exciting player who will ultimately never win you anything if he is top banana for your team. He's exciting though. And could be a nice complementary piece. Especially if they get lucky in the lottery

I am just not an Iggy guy....I really think he is a 3rd option on a good team. I know there was people that wanted him at the deadline last year, but I really don't think it would have changed anything at all. I think the worst place to be in the NBA is a "good" team.....I want to be either elite or full on rebuild. How old is Iggy now?

Gee, I dunno. Maybe the fact that we never have? And the fact that despite getting a talent like LeBron, in a league where one elite player makes such a difference, we still failed.

Yeah, that has a LITTLE to do with it.

Iggy is still young at 26. BUT, he fits Byron's system PERFECTLY.

Obviously, he's not the guy to push us to the "elite" level, but again, we were elite for the last few years and have nothing to show for it.

Just give me good, exciting basketball.

How does the past have anything to do with how a team can perform in the future? Several teams in the NBA have never won a championship. Doesn't mean they never can.

Um, why? It's a true statement. Here's a list.

http://www.nba.com/history/finals/champions.html

I think you'll notice several teams missing from that list. Does that mean those teams can never win a championship as well?

Iggy plays defense, thus your argument is invalid.

Would you have said Miami could win a championship prior to a few years ago?

hoops is saying that only certain teams are able to win championships and the Cavs aren't one of those teams. I would think that the Cavs have just as good a shot as Miami, and Miami won a title a few years ago. Cavs very well could have if not for Jordan and the Bulls so I don't think its out of the question they could get it done in the future.

FAILami had Dwade and Shaq plus two other HOFers on that roster, with a HOF coach. And the refs gifted Dwade with 45+ fts a game. Sorry that yr was a down yr/joke for the NBA IMHO. Cavs have none of that criteria, while I see what you're trying to say, I am siding with Hoops on this one, and probably most NBA issues, as Hoops knows his shit, and you're an Ohio troll.

Ok who is to say that scenario can't play out again with Cleveland being the benefactor?

It can't without a top draft pick in Cleveland.

First of all, Cleveland isn't attracting the FA's that Miami did that year.

Cleveland ISN'T Miami. Point blank. NBA stars love the party life style, and only a few cities provide that.

Cleveland had one of the better assembled rosters for the past two years and still came up empty. The difference between Miami and Cleveland? DWade didn't give up on his team and they played Allas in the finals, and yes, I left the D out on purpose.

As others said, DWade spent most of his time at the charity stripe. No way was Stern letting Cuban win a title.

It was a down year in the NBA that season. No Boston, no LA, Detroit was on the decline, and Dallas was the best in the West? LOL.

Sadly, Cleveland decided to become great a year or two late.
