Delhomme is a good QB when considering his mentoring the up-and-coming McCoy. He's a horrible QB when considering his current play. It's not his fault. He's just getting older and is losing his skills. He had his time. He knows it. We know it. It's over. He's on the downslope of his career and is becoming a detriment to his team. I think he knows that and accepts it. He still would make a terrific backup and is still worthy of mentoring the rookie in his progress.

I tend to agree with that sykotyk.
But he would make a good back up in a place that has a solid, #1 guy. Colt is becoming that guy, which is why I think he is a good fit to be behind Colt. But it's too early to say Colt is going to be a QB who never leaves the field. Delhomme needs to be somewhere where he will only play in a blowout.

I just hope this isn't one of those.."we paid him "XX" amount of dollars, so we are going to play him" situations. I know the Browns aren't going to the playoffs, but you still have to play to win.

That's why I was asking if Wallace is healthy or not. Because I think Mangini has to realize that Wallace is a better option then Delhomme by now. So if he is healthy, I could see the money thing. But if he isn't healthy, than Delhomme is the only option.

lol On Robo's 3rd catch(maybe even his 2nd) I think they made a comment about him having his most productive day in a Browns uni and I almost fell off the couch. I knew he hadn't had a lot of catches, but damn 3 catches and that's his season high....
