I played for a bit, it's just too time consuming to actually play the game at a high level. I was never fan of raiding too much, the content was cool, but to play with people any good you had to commit to playing 4 hours a night 3-5 nights a week which is retarded.

PVP was what I enjoyed more... played competitively with my brother for a while until we both just became too busy to play the game anymore. But towards the end of my playing one of the things I enjoyed doing was just playing the Auction House like a quasi stock market and making "money" just buying and selling that shit. I have a couple characters gold capped.

Been playing it on and off since the beginning of retail, but am pretty casual about it. Cataclysm will be fun, i think, at least for a few weeks.

Haven't "seriously" played an MMO since the glory days of Everquest, UO, and Asheron's Call.

Ill only play this until Diablo 3 comes out(so i may end up playing WOW forever lol)

Yeah I've been waiting for that to come out as well haha.

But precisely the time issue is why I like games like StarCraft, StarCraft II, Warcraft, etc. better than the MMO's. The WoW MMORPG is insane with how much content there is, how cool it is and how it looks... the environment and music. It's just too much.

Just it's not practical to have that much time to play the game and enjoy it at the level it is designed to be enjoyed at.

I played WoW for about a year or so. Having played it, I still say Runescape is much better especially if you enjoy skilling.
