SOS,
First of all, I notice you like to make claims and statements without anything to back them up with, just like the dumb@$$ statement in another thread that, "...Youngstown Ohio has the highest murder rate per capita in the US...", this post is no different. I guess they didn't teach you how to source up there at Indian Creek!
Since I believe you're intentionally being misleading in this post I'm going to break it down and in the process ask a series of questions.

Before we go any further, I am going to give ALL freehuddlers the REAL reason why NO ONE will play Big Red.
Big Red plays ten regular season games a year, so your statement that "NO ONE will play Big Red', is false. Now, are you talking about local teams or what? If you are talking about local teams, then I'm sure the reason you give would be a very low priority reason and that the main reason is that they can't win (i.e. Indian Creek)!

A discussion with a good friend prompted me to enlighten our fine posters. When Big Red schedules a team, they like to schedule all games at Harding Stadium. No complaint there because who wouldn't want to play everyone at home right?
What does this statement have to do with...
sonofsam wrote:My question is why did it take so long to pay Creek the absolute chump change you owed them? What was it like 5 monthes???
...this one? This reminds me of the response my Latin teacher always said when someone in our class asked a non-sequitur question, "Do you walk to work or carry your lunch?"
And if the two statements weren't meant to have anything to do with each other then you shouldn't have put the little "factoid" in about Big Red wanting to play all of their games at home, because ultimately you said yourself that there was, "No complaint there because who wouldn't want to play everyone at home right?"
First of all why would anyone on here know why it took so long to pay IC? If you really want to know, why don't you call Reno or Fred? And second, why should anyone believe you when you make this claim; are you privy to all the activities between the two schools? I'm pretty sure that most on this site are not! And if you have "inside" information then share with us from whom you get your information, until then let's just stick to information that is easily accessible to all.

Next, If Big Red schedules a Home and Home series, it is scheduled on THEIR terms which insists that Big Red gets to keep ALL monies from pre-ticket sales. That INCLUDES season ticket holders.
What does being a season ticket holders have to do with anything? When Big Red plays an away game the season ticket holders have to buy away game tickets just like everyone else. They may have first opportunity to purchase them but they still have to buy them like everyone else. Unless you're talking about Big Red demanding pre-ticket sales from the opposing school, then I cover that in my nitpicking area!

So why would anyone in their right mind want to LOOSE money by scheduling Big Red? Ticket sales make up a good chunk of the revenue and all Big Red fans would purchase a head of time so they can keep the money at the school. How fair is that? An area team wants to schedule Big Red yet Big Red plays in that teams stadium and takes most of the money?
I guess this portion of your post made the least amount of sense to me! Are you implying that Big Red is demanding all pre-ticket sales from both schools or only those pre-ticket sales from Big Red? I'm pretty sure you're talking about only the sales from Big Red, (Isn’t that how the playoffs work? Oh wait, I apologize, you won't know anything about how anything in the playoffs work now would you?) but that is very unclear in your post!
So what you're saying is that the money Big Red brings in from Big Red Fans should be split equally? You do realize that in most cases Big Red Fans outnumber the opposing fans 2:1, 3:1, and sometimes 4:1, right? Instead of complaining about Big Red wanting to keep the money that Big Red Fans bring in, maybe you should be complaining to the weak fan bases that don't go out and support their respective high school! "...Big Red plays in that teams stadium and takes most of the money", because Big Red brings in most of the money!! When we play teams with fans that actually support their team, this isn't even an issue! Go ahead ask Massillon if they feel they got jipped when they came to Harding Stadium!
Have you ever taken any economics or business classes? I'm going to guess no!
Nitpicking section:
The plural of month is months not "monthes"
Your use of "monies" is incorrect (unless you're talking about the money from the pre-ticket sales from both schools, then in that case, -insert personal attack here-). “Monies” is used when money is coming in from different sources or you're dealing with different types of money. Think in terms of fish vs. fishes!
It should be LOSE money, you would think since you put it in all caps you'd catch something like that!
"Ahead" is one word.
