Nice job nic1633 this could be an interesting weekend for a few teams with some possible key match ups. It looks like Briggs, Brookhaven, Mifflin, Walnut Ridge and West are all in the same tournament this weekend. Depending on seeding and how pools turn out there are a few matches that I would like to see this weekend. Hint 285 is the one that comes to mind.

"189: Kenley-Mifflin, Stockton-West, and" - Stockton lost to the Briggs kid at the West side dual

"215: Murro-Briggs, Hickey-Marion Franklin, and Baker-Mifflin" - Baker got pinned by Richburg from South

Also, Gusan can go either 215 or 285 and he is a heavy favorite at both classes. We must wait and see.

@ 125 Cisco won't be a factor, he is ineligible. (now he is officially a TURD)

Stockton also beat the briggs kid at the whitehall duals.

what is the over/under on the number of kids not making weight on the day of the tournament? I have a good feeling that it is going to be low this year, but unfortunately with maybe one seeded kid.

80baby;580410 wrote:Since no one else is talking about it then I’ll get it started. What’s up with Columbus City League wrestling this year? Did all of the DQ’s graduate last year I know the 2 SQ’s did but what about everyone else returning this year because not one CCL kid was in the CD All-Star meet. So where there some kid nominated but didn’t get voted in? The season opens this weekend and no talk about CCL at all so what’s the league looking like this year and where is everyone opening up at? Could someone please post the league duals teams and locations I didn’t write them all down. I know that Briggs opens up at Franklin Heights and West is at HT.

1.Marion Franklin (should have 3 champs in Parkham 130, Jones 140, and Patrick 160. Also gets major points from Wright 103, Durroh 171, and Gray HWT)
2.Mifflin (Robinson HWT should win, Mills 135 should win, and Kenley 189 should win. It will take more than just three though)
3.West (Although no projected champs, they do have 3 possible finalists in Johnson 112, Farias 140, and Stockton 189 plus a solid lineup)
4.Centennial (Should have a champ in Hendricks, plus possible champ Waits 135. Ayuh-Kami 152, Leeman 160, and Evans 171 will provide points)
5.Brookhaven (Should have a champ in burney 171, plus points scored by williams 160, banks hwt, lewis 112, and bonner 140)
6.South (Have two possible finalists in Matteson 125, and Brown HWT. Smith 130, and Lofton 189 will provide points)
