Thoughts on this, another road trip to Florida for the young Buckeyes?

Noles lose to the Gators at home on Sunday evening by 55-51. FSU has a lot of length but just didn't seem to make good decisions. A nice comeback but too little, too late. Seemed like they make a lot a mental errors and do not shoot well outside.

Any way you shake it, this is a nice challenge on the road against a team that will undoubtedly be hungry. Go Bucks!

Should be an entertaining, up and down game. But the Bucks are way to tough and talented for FSU, they will win by 10+ imo.

This is one of the better OOC games that the Bucks should win handily.

I think this game will be more difficult then some suspect. Yes, OSU looks good thus far...but with as many frosh as this team has, they will hit the bump in the road. Its to be expected. I think they win, and should win...but I think it will be within a 10pt game. I am still a bit concernd about OSU half court offense. It didn't look great vs Miami on Friday evening as Miami slowed it down. Second half was better when they got Sully the ball more. Hopefully they look for him early in this game as that will just open things up for the rest of the team.
75-67 OSU.

Exactly the point I was going to make. I don't know what kind of defense FSU runs, but if they aren't a pressing team, OSU HAS to work the half-court offense through Sullinger. He should get at least one post touch anytime they're in the half-court offense. He's shown the ability to pass out of the post, and we all know he can score from there. If FSU presses I think it's a 15+ point win for OSU, if not I think it's around 7-10 point win.

Sure the freshman will have a bump in the road, but it shouldn't be Florida State. We are still too early in the season for them to be hitting the "wall" and Florida State just isn't a better team. I think a close game would actually be beneficial for this team, but I don't know if it will be.

Another national "stage" for Sullinger and I think he plays really well. And I think Thomas is ready to play in a big game, so it will be interesting to see how he responds.

No, Fla St is not better. But if they are anywhere near as athletic as they were last year, they can cause problems. Last year they were BIG and athletic. Singleton is also a very good player they have. Now, I don't think Hamilton is worth a crap as a coach and they completely lack discipline. But if OSU doesn't come out aggressive, and doesnt' rebound...Fla St could hang in there.
The only thing holding Thomas back right now is his defense. He really is BAD defensively. He jumps at every shot attempt, even on the perimeter. He still lacks that defensive discipline. Offensively..he quite honestly could be the best player on OSU. He can do it from outside, post up and drive. He has complete offensive game. He is just a flat out scorer. But has A LOT of work to do defensively. But he'll get there eventually.

In year's past I could see where an athletic team could cause OSU problems, but I don't see it this year. They have a capable PG and athletes on the wings to match up with anyone. Plus, when playing against a team of athletes, you pound it inside and let Sullinger go to work.

Plus, Florida State is not well coached, nor disciplined. This is a game where Diebler goes off because he gets open looks and they don't adjust. I'm not certain, but I think Diebler played really well against them last year.
