Exactly. See the game that bounced them from the tourney last season. He did absolutely nothing.

He just doesn't even look like a basketball player with the ball on the floor

Well, I would disagree with that. If it were that bad, a coach like Matta wouldnm't have him on the floor. He is the only player that hasn't sat out. He has actually played decent defense, and has a few steals. Not shooting well obviously.

I agree he has played nice D this year, so that is an improvement. Matta obviously keeps him there to stretch the floor. When he is on he kills teams with those dagger threes.

Light is the player who needs to have the ball in his hands as the shot clock winds down.

What does he do to help the team when hes not knocking down shots honestly? He has an assist or 2 sure. But he doesnt really play too good of defense, hasnt sat out the entire game and has yet to even get a rebound(thats hard to do) and is like 2-10 from 3. Thats not a very productive when his shot isnt going in

Good win. Fla St never really threaten. Wasn't pretty, but OSU held a 10pt lead for most of this game. As I said, didn't play well, still win the game going away. Good sign.

Craft will be a really good player once he gets an offensive game

NO ONE for Ohio State had a good game and they still win by 14. A very underated defensive team. AND played without Buford for the final 8 minutes. AND without Thomas for the entire 2nd half.

Go ask Matta. But I watched him closely. He boxed out a number of times, had at least 3 steals tonite, he does in fact play pretty decent defense. And even if he isn't hitting the 3...he is still a threat, which spreads the defense.

Really? They are a terribly undisciplined team. I would doubt if they make the toruney this year. Tremendous athletes who can fly around on defense...but 44 points is very telling. They had some wide open looks that werent even close. 44 points. Thats just terrible.

OSU looked pretty good though. They didnt panic and got the ball to the rim despite getting blocked. Good patience.

I like that OSU didn't panic or fall apart when they went on that small drought.

Don't mind the way the Bucks won at all. Impressive thing is they never got rattled, especially the 2 freshmen. Outside shot wasn't going down for the Bucks, so it made it easy for FSU to collapse on Sully. FSU is the real deal on defense. Good win for the Bucks, imo.

I agree. Defensively they are very solid right now. And, rebounding has been good as well. A weakness the past few years.

Definitely a difference between this year's team and the previous few years. The previous few years they just would have started chucking up shots all over the place.

Agree. Great athletes, not great basketball players. And as Bilas said at half, they run NOTHING offensively.

No, not really. Thats what he is, a shooter. I think one of the best pure shooters inside 20ft around to be honest. He has a sweat stroke.

Had to keep up the pace that FSU set early in the game, Did what was needed down the stretch. As good as FSU played defensively, OSU played better. FSU shot poorly all night, not all due to the D but a good showing nonetheless. Sully got a wake up call...needs to get people in the air before taking it to the hole, especially against more athletic teams, needs a little tweeking. Diebs shot like shit but played avg. D and pulled out the D just by virtue of the threat. Problem was he couldn't dump down in as FSU played lock down D all night.

Buford could have played a little better, happy with the win away.

I really think it's time for Craft to start, which will let Buford start off the game in a position he is more comfortable with. Buford is at his best curling of a screen and hitting the mid range jumper. Give him a chance to get goin' early, then he can spell Craft when he needs a rest.
