Trolls are on every message board, there is no real way to deal with it IMO. If people weren't so damn thinned skin and if someone bothers them use the ignore feature this wouldn't be an issue. Personally I don't care anymore if people troll, I mean what exactly is trolling?? Some think that a simple different view on said subjet or team constitutes trolling. Maybe I'm in the minority here but I just don't care anymore and post to have fun plain and simple. If someone wants to "troll" me, I'll do one of two things, respond to it in a way I see fit or just ignore (which I have done more of as late). Just my two cents!
I am all for keeping the HS forums clean of bad or untasteful matter but the other forums are for big people and if big people can't deal, oh well! Put a disclaimer on the furoms that they may contain adult related themes and language, done!

Yes, that would be the mature way to deal with it. The problem is we are in the midst of an arms race between a few posters who are trying to out troll each other and it is ruining entire threads and forums.

I like the new Troll Prevention method, it should work out pretty well!

I mean Justin you do what you gotta do, it's your show and I'm glad to be a part of it and help out where I can. I just flat out don't care if some grown ass person's feelings get hurt on a message board. I stand by my thought the only forums we should police is the HS forums, and basically porn and crap like that in the others! The rest is just freaking words some douche typed in!

I think it is a fun idea....there are some people that cant see the hilarious possibilities in this. I think it cleans up the shit in the pro sports and it lets the trolls unleash hell in their own forum. I think the trolls will have some great threads in there to be honest.

I agree to an extent, but it's not even about the words anymore. It's sifting through 80% bullshit posts to find something remotely useful in a Pro or CFB thread that has become the problem.

I have no problem with the Basement Forum I actually like the thought of a true no holds barred area. I guess I don't see how the trolling infraction will be consistant in the least. You and I could read the same post and have two totally different opinions on it, where one will troll infract and another mod doesn't think it is warrented. Then we get even more backlash for that. Like I said no biggie just putting in my 2 cents. I am totally sick of the whiners, who are mostly the trolls themselves, so I just pretty much ingore them even though I called out COA today

That's kind of what I was trying to do. I didn't want to be "that mod" and delete posts, but they really don't need to be seen.
