I was just sitting here watching ESPN and I saw Jesse Ventura (former WWF wrestler and governor of Minnesota) on this show promoting his new show. It's gong to be about some of the biggest conspiracies in the past 20 years. The example he used was the government being involved in 9/11. I remember Rosie O'Donnell coming out and saying she believed they were responsible also. It made me wonder what you guys thought.

Yeah, if Rosie says so, then it must be.!!!

Short answer: No...mainly because I don't believe the government could keep that a secret and as much as I disliked the previous administration, I don't think W or Cheney are evil

Now, do I think there possibly was some ineptitude with regards to collecting intel in the varying agencies (FBI, CIA, NSA, etc) and no collaboration between the 3? Absolutely.

This, the folks that for some reason have to believe in something, no matter how crazy it is, fail to grasp even the lowest of the low hanging fruits. To the extent our government is incompetent (and I can see that point of view), how all of a sudden is it competent in pulling off the biggest hoax in history with practically every single person scrutinizing the event?

We'll never know, but I won't dismiss it outright, because I simply have no idea. I've done research on this topic and it seems almost possible that they could have and the evidence is there. Then again, certain people have answers to refute that evidence. But wouldn't they have the answers ready to cover it up if that's what they're doing???

And not many are scrutinizing this event IMO. Overall, it seems pretty secretive to me. there are alot of valid questions concerning that day that are yet to be answered. Plus, most people I know accept the official explanation at face value. I think it needs to be scrutinized more.

If there is any doubt that the full explanation was not given on what happened that day, I want to know and so should you....

I think indirectly they are, due to our poor foreign policy. But did they actually plot this event to happen? Hell no.

I remember watching a special national geographic had on about the conspiracies. they disproved the theories, showed the experiments to the conspiracy theorist, and they still refused to believe it. it was actually quite comical to watch the guys stumble over themselves when their conspiracy theories were torn to shreds.

this is the biggest hole in most conspiracies. someone somewhere along the line on their death bed would tell all. and with something like 9/11, they calculated it would take thousands upon thousands of people to try and cover up something the government did.

The government was not involved with 9-11 at all. But the government has exploited the event in implementing a myriad of horrible political decisions which has sated the lust of the military hawks in our country.

Future generations will need to deal with the cost of these occupations. My generation really doesn't give a shit.

It doesn't take much to poke a hole into any incident (real or made-up), it takes a whole helluva lot more to have to explain an alternative reality....notice the "troofers" can't do the latter...ever.
