My wife and I are wanting to put together an "Ohio" Christmas basket for some of our friends that moved recently to Ohio from Illinois. What are some "Ohio Related Gifts" that we could put in the basket?

The only ideas we have so far are:

-OSU Buckeyes Shirt
-Columbus Blue Jackets Shirt
-Buckeye Candies
-Ohio Attractions Guide

After the above we are stumped!

Any foods I have actually heard of? Lol

Also, any other non food things would be good.

Definitely use a Longaberger basket.

Also, I like the Smuckers idea.

Make the basket a Longaberger one (as 2 of us post it at exactly the same time)

Maybe throw in some Ohio Brews, perhaps a Great Lakes or something.

First...smuckers jelly would be good if it wasn't sold all over the world...I am looking for things that are strictly ohio or at least close to it. Amish country is a good idea but not sure if I want to go all the way down there to get something small. Also the longaberger basket is a good idea but no way I am paying that much for a silly basket.

prosthetic limb. I heard a factory down by Logan makes them. A gift like that should lighten the mood, plus your wallet.

I second the Troyer's trail bologna... I think they will ship it within the sate of Ohio. Also you can get some award winning swiss chees in Ohio's Amish country.

So basically you just want something that is cheap and insignificant??

Cans of Skyline Chili is a good idea.

So is the Ohio Brew idea...get them some Great Lakes Christmas Ale, some Christian Moerlein OTR, and throw in a Four Loko or two since the owners are from Ohio State.
