I had WBNS on the TV this morning and was half asleep when it aired, but I thought I heard them say there are people in chairs already outside some of the stores.

Did anyone else hear this?

You're right, it's crazy to go and try to get a $2000 TV for $1100.

No, but it is crazy to miss the holidays and spend a week lined up outside of best buy to get that deal.

Lets do some math

Food, supplies such as blankets, sleeping bags, tents, etc for one week probably costs at least $100. I realize that most people already have blankets, etc, but for a week, the cost of food adds up, plus wear and tear on the crap you bring with you.

Now most people get the weekends off, as well as Thanksgiving, but Monday-Wednesday people usually work. Now it may be nice to be able to sit at home if you don't have a job or if your significant other works, but for the rest of us, three eight-hour work days at Ohio minimum wage is $175.

So incredibly conservatively, this will actually cost you at least $300, more like $500.

If it means being outside the store for that long, yes, it is crazy. :D

If I heard it right, the report said people were in chairs and had sleeping bags.
