I hope the owners of kissmyasslebron.com come up with a shirt that says Go Cavs. And then says something else when the lights go off. A nice glow-in-the-dark "Gloria West" or something.

Remember in High school, at a bball game, you'd turn your back when the other team us being introduced.... I think the fans should do that.

I also love the chant "Akron hates you"

Of course he's not "scared". What in God's name would he have to be "scared" of?

Quality thread of open minds.

Miami will win an ugly shooting game 83-74

LeBron will get way too many foul shots and score 29 pts.

Thus far LeBron looks like a guy trying to fit in and keep the other top players happy. At some point he will have to take over like he did in Cleveland or this will never work.

Anyone else hope Lebron goes to the hole and Ryan Hollins elbows him in the face, breaking his nose and knocking him out the rest of the game?

Just some wishful thinking...

Edit: NVM, I forgot how awful the Heat are with Lebron and Wade on the court without Bosh, so let's hope Bosh gets outta the game.

Gilbert Says Cavs Won't Be Too Restrictive On Dec. 2

Nov 25, 2010 2:11 PM EST
Cavaliers' owner Dan Gilbert disputed ESPN's headline indicating that the team will strictly limit fans' expression of opposition to LeBron James when he returns to Quicken Loans Arena as a member of the Heat on December 2nd.

"ESPN headline is wrong & silly," Gilbert wrote on his Twitter page. "Obviously no profanity, vulgar stuff U wouldn't want kids 2 see but we are not going 2 be the Gestapo @ The Q."

Cleveland bars are warming up for LeBron James' return with Heat

Published: Thursday, November 25, 2010, 8:06 AM Updated: Thursday, November 25, 2010, 8:22 AM
John Petkovic, The Plain Dealer

What should you do?

First, stop taking notes on all the "haters," LeBron. Otherwise, you're really going to hurt your elbow.

The list keeps getting longer and longer in advance of LeBron's return to The Q. So much so that people say we should behave ourselves when he hits the court at 8 p.m. next Thursday, Dec. 2. So what should we do?

Boo and yell mean things? Or take the "high road" -- so we don't "look bad" on national TV?

Hey, why should we be any different than the rest of the country? If you can't taunt a megalomaniacal multimillionaire, then whom can you taunt?

Not because he made Cleveland look bad on TV. He made himself look bad, almost as bad as the Miami Heat look this season.

Our republic was founded by toppling illegitimate kings.

So boo and taunt away. And turn a negative into a positive -- by partying at the exiled King's expense at these places.

That poor pig

Come next Wednesday, Dec. 1, the Barley House (1265 West Sixth St., Cleveland) will get the ball rolling by hosting a LeBron James Roast.

It runs from 9 to 11 p.m. and features comedians razzing LeBron, not to mention drink specials -- 23 cents off all night if you bring a LeBron jersey.

It also boasts a pig roast.

"We're also roasting it out front," says Corey May, of the Barley House. "We're going to brand No. 6 on it."

Yikes.

The fun starts on a positive note, at 6:30 p.m., when Cleveland Browns Peyton Hillis and Joe Haden will chat with fans and sign autographs.

"It's a pep rally," says May. "And we're proclaiming Joe Haden the new No. 23 of Cleveland." Free. Call 216-623-1700.

Hello, Clevelander

Is there a rowdier pregame spot than the Clevelander? The answer will come before you're done with your first pitcher and after you've heard an array of harangues directed at anyone remotely related to LeBron. The bar (834 Huron Road East, Cleveland, 216-771-3723) is a woohoo parlor for loud, tipsy sports fans.

Will they show 'The Decision'?

Call it counter-programming to ESPN.

On Thursday the Harry Buffalo, 2120 East Fourth St., Cleveland, will host a pre- and postgame Viewing Party. As in, the Buffs have assembled a reel of LeBron lowlights.

"It's become a national pastime to boo LeBron, and I'm enjoying it," says general manager Bryan Metzger. "With the Heat looking so bad even Heat fans are getting in on the fun."

Free. Call 216-621-8887.

Antawn is in da house The Heat most likely will leave right after the game -- so, boohoo, looks like LeBron won't be out and about.

But Antawn Jamison will. The Cavs forward will host an after-party at Fortress Nightclub & Lounge (1360 West Ninth St.) in Cleveland's Warehouse District.

"Expectations are so high for LeBron, and everyone wants to beat the Heat," says party promoter Arnold Hines. "And if the Cavs win, it's going to be a party to remember."

Free before midnight; $10 after. Call 216-702-5511.

When Irish eyes are booing The pregame happy hour party at Flannery's promises a positive message. Give the folks a few drops of Guinness at the Irish pub (323 Prospect Ave. East, Cleveland) and we'll see about that.

"He made his decision, and we don't care about him anymore," says general manager Christine Connell. "We're doing this to say 'Go Cavs.'" It runs 3-7 p.m. Call 216-781-7782.

Hopefully parents are not dumb enough to bring their kids to this game. If they do, they better not complain.

I'm eagerly awaiting the "my son was wearing a LBJ Heat jersey and got shoved down by a drunk" complaint/lie by a mom who wasn't actually at the game.

No, Gibby, it's because you are a douche homer of the great state of Florida. You probably didn't like Lebron until he went to Miami. You probably thought Urban Meyer was a turd for leaving BGSU until he got to Gainsville.

Now, go wear your Tim Tebow Broncos Jersey with your Gators hat, Air Force 1s and one sparkling white glove and walk over to Urban Meyer's house and suck his dick. When you get home, you can rub one out to Jesse Palmer on CFB Live.
