I walked out of Funny People. They forgot the "funny" part. I can't remember the last time I actually walked out of a movie.

Exactly how I felt. And like someone else said, he is coming out with a new movie with him, Kevin James, David Spade, and some other guy I forget. But it looks pretty funny.

I can't remember the name of it, but it is about some middle aged guys who get back together years after winning a CYO basketball championship. It looks very good. Has his usual cast of characters in it. Maybe something us middle aged guys can relate to a little bit more.

BTW, if you haven't checked out "Blind Side" yet, it is a great, great movie.

definitely has potential with the cast

The Grown Ups cast looks great. Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider(weak link), and David Spade. Not to mention, Salma Hayek and Maria Bello will add a little eye candy!!

I thought Funny People was intended to be a serious movie. The reason it was funny was in fact because it was about stand up comics. The story-line though when you think about it is very serious and drama filled. Very interesting way to make a movie in my opinion.
