I believe Bobby Labonte is the only driver to win both since the Busch Series was started in '83 or '84. I'm sure that will change soon with Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, and Greg Biffle all being Busch Series champs.

3 poles in a row for kurt. now let's see him get a win and I'll start to get a good feeling about this season.

Already been an up and down season for the #22. But he's happy with where the team is at now after the ass chewing he gave at Richmond, so I'm happy with it too. Results have improved big time. Amazingly, Brad K qualified 10 cars before Kurt yesterday, and he qualified 41st. Team went into panic mode because they were set up similarly. In under 3 minutes, the team made a shitload of drastic changes to the setup, and he qualified on the pole. That's pretty impressive.

Heard rumblings of this a while back...but it appears to be picking up steam and worth mentioning I guess. Per jayski.com: Edwards might be headed to Joe Gibbs Racing, as JGR is actively recruiting Edwards pretty hard to replace Logano in the #20 Home Depot, and Logano would be headed to the 4th car JGR has wanted to get started for the last couple of years.

More whining from Jack Roush...what a shock.

"Jack Roush drew a few laughs after his team's NASCAR Nationwide victory, when he was asked his view of the fine handed down to fellow owner Richard Childress. Childress was fined $150,000 earlier this month for an altercation with Kyle Busch at Kansas Speedway. Childress was upset that Busch bumped into Joey Coulter on the cool-down lap after a race. "It was pretty high," Roush said about the fine. "I guess that pretty much puts the nail in the coffin of, 'Have at it, guys.' Maybe that was a boy and a man. I am not sure. Maybe that is different than the boys having at it. Kyle has been pretty rough on my cars over a period of time and for Richard to stand up for himself was OK," Roush said."

But it's OK for Edwards to beat the hell out of Penske cars...when he flipped Brad K upside down last year. It's called racing Roush...quit being a bitch.

Sounds like another sponsor on the way out....

"Multiple people familiar with the decision say Red Bull plans to leave NASCAR at the end of this season. Those familiar with the decision also say a team official traveled to Michigan Speedway last weekend to inform industry leaders of Red Bull's decision. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because an official announcement has not been made to team employees. Red Bull is both the owner and sponsor of the two-car NASCAR team. The team has struggled since its 2007 entry into NASCAR. Red Bull also owns a pair of two-car Formula One teams. Current points leader Sebastian Vettel is the reigning world champion and has won five of seven Grand Prix races this season."

Awwwwww, what will happen to Vickers and Martin.

Good, one less Toyota team.

What the hell does Martin have to do with RBR? LOL

And don't get too excited yet, I'm sure they will just sell the team off to someone else. Maybe stay on board as sponsors but get rid of the owner tag if something interesting came along.

No. Mark doesn't have a ride lined up at the moment. Kasey is just on loan to RBR from Hendricks.

I don't disagree. I didn't make the "I hate Toyota,,,,keep those foreigners out of NASCAR." Just thought the answer to his question was pretty obvious.

I've honestly never heard another reason against Toyota, lol. Well, maybe other than Kyle Busch drives one.

Mike Ford (#11 car), Dave Rogers (#18 car) and Greg Zipadelli (#20 car) have been fined $50,000 each and placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31. In addition, all three car chiefs Chris Gillin (#11 car), Wesley Sherrill (#18 car) and Jason Shapiro (#20 car) along with Senior Vice President of Racing Operations Jimmy Makar have been placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31.

While a standard NASCAR Sprint Cup oil pan weighs about 4 pounds, the three taken off the Gibbs cars weighed an estimated 20-30 pounds apiece.

funny thing is, Hamlin won the race with a normal oil pan.
