I don't necessarily like it, but I do like it more than 2 trains of 21 cars each. It does generate passing, obviously. It sucks to see someone get passed because their partner backed off of plowing them around the track, though. It would be nice to see the cars be able to run without being connected. REMOVE THE DAMN PLATES

Nice pic's Speed!

I too like the two car tandem. Esp when there are 5 groups racing in a pack. Very good racing.

That big wreck last night was nuts. Would like to see Bayne or Dale Jr. do well tonight. Hopefully Kenseth can get another top 5 and stay in contention. I'd also like to see Smoke get pissed and just take someone out.

Having Kyle Petty get run over by the pace car so he can't call the race would also help.

That's all you'll ever get with multiple GWC's. When it's a 2 lap shootout with no reason to behave (since they will just try over) there's no point in racing with any common sense.

There's nothing wrong with balls to the wall racing, like in the last few laps of the Daytona 500 back in the day when you could end under caution, cars jockeying for position everywhere but still generally not wrecking. There is a problem with racing and throwing any skill you have out the wondow. Using your car as a glorified plow because there's nothing to lose once one lap is completed is retarded. Some of it even comes from teammates in the back racing overly aggressive deliberately, so if they would cause a wreck a teammate closer to the front will have a better chance on another restart. I wish they would go back to one GWC.

Junior not happy with the 2-car stuff still, complains like he has at every plate race thus far.

I'd say this weekend just help further my point of no skill being involved in plate racing, but more so about luck. Just look at some of the names that have won at plate races. Not really guys you would typically call 'winners'.

be fair to regan. he qualifies great, so you know he can drive when he's the only car on the track. it's when there are so many others out there and too many targets to collide with, thats when his troubles start.

Ford will continue to run the Fusion in the Sprint series. I thought for sure they'd be making the switch to Mustang and you would eventually see the Mustang, Charger, and Camaro among the Big 3.

I've heard the Scott Speed ordeal is a big reason Red Bull will probably stop owning a team and just go with sponsoring.

"Former Red Bull Racing driver Scott Speed has obtained an order of attachment against the team, placing a lien on its real property in North Carolina until Speed's lawsuit against the team is resolved. The order, covering the Red Bull shop in Mooresville, N.C., and the property on which it sits, was served Tuesday. The property was purchased for approximately $3.3 million. Such orders can be issued only in very limited circumstances in North Carolina. After Red Bull fired Speed, he sued the organization in December, claiming breach of contract and seeking damages of at least $6.5 million. In March, an N.C. judge denied Red Bull's request to dismiss the suit. A discovery motion in Speed's case is scheduled to be heard on July 11 in Iredell County Superior Court in Statesville, N.C. William Bray, Speed's attorney in the case, said his client sought the order because of Red Bull's recent announcement that it was looking to end its ownership role in NASCAR at the end of the 2011 season. Red Bull can contest the order, but as of Friday had not done so. Through a spokesperson, the team declined to comment."

Good call. Lost Office Depot after the 2008 season, DeWalt after the 2010 season, and now Crown Royal after this season.

But I believe Office Depot's reasoning was economic issues, but by the start of the 2009 season, they had bounced back and were looking to resign as the primary sponsor but Roush had already inked AFLAC to the deal.
