Big game in SEC country in regards to Auburn's chances for a BCS National Championship appearance, and Alabama possibly making a BCS bowl.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 P.M.

The Tide is an early 4.5 point favorite. Boise State faithful are dancing in the streets.

I'll be in Vegas this weekend, and my buddy is putting ~$500 on Bama. I doubt he'll be too happy at that early line, however.

Is he a Bama fan or was he just counting on them getting points?

Bama will win IMO.

And then Auburn will go on to win the SEC and still make the Title game, most likely. Which is a total and complete joke.

Can't wait. I love those day after Thanksgiving games and The Iron Bowl is huge this year.

'Bama wins.

This has the potential of being a great game, thinking Bamer will win it.

Not a Bama fan, just thinks they're gonna win. Can't wait to see if he's still confident with a 4 and a half spread lol

Really surprised by the line in this game. Makes me wonder. I like Auburn, but I think Alabama knows this is their "National Championship" game this year, so they are really fired up (not that Auburn doesn't know what's at stake).

'Bama by a TD...they'd love nothing more than to ruin Auburn's run to the NC game, or least make it more difficult....Roll Tide!!!

It would be highly interesting to see how things would play out with a Auburn loss. I almost hope it happens, just to see what would happen with the NC game. I would still think a 1 loss team from the SEC would be more deserving, but my opinion doesn't count for much.

I agree, Dynasty- and I think you're in the majority as far as the talking heads are concerned.

Alabama by 2 scores. Auburn's defense won't be able to slow them down, and Alabama's defense will do enough. Alabama is the more complete team. I really think it is a testament to how weak the SEC is this year that a team like Auburn could make it this far undefeated.

Can't wait for this one. I really expect Alabama to win. Auburn's offense just seems like it would be fairly easy to stop if you have the weapons defensively. Sell out on the run and force Newton to beat you with his arm. Don't get me wrong, Newton and Auburn have had a great season, but there's a reason they do not run this kind of offense in the pros... and Alabama has a lot of "pro" talent.

Auburn will be prepared coming off of a bye week, but I think Bama will be too much for them at home.

Bama is effectively coming off a bye week too. Georgia State last Thursday.

Ohio State and Michigan gained national interest for a while.

I don't know, I have a hard time seeing Oregon losing either game left on their schedule. Although who thought that Cal would take them to the brink?
