Pens streak now at 11 in a row

5-2 over Toronto

at Buffalo Saturday, that will be a tough one and potential loss

then at Philadelphia big game next Tuesday on Versus

I bet their streak comes to end against Buffalo, Buffalo is a much tougher team than the pens and will take Crosby to the woodshed. Be interesting to see if any of the pens players respond and step their game up or if the cower playing a more physical team. Buffalo fans are intense and will probably intimidate Crosby/Pens as they're not used to playing in a large passionate arena.

Yeah at 11-13, with a diff of -6 (Pittsburghs +27)......much tougher team.

Passionate arenas? Like Calgary's (4-1) and MSG (3-1). Ohhhh yeah and Buffalo's 2 weeks ago (1-0).

As for the streak....everything has to end sometimes. Pittsburgh is playing better than anyone right now and I'm thrilled. My only worry is if they peak too early or the injury bug bites them towards the end of the year.

Jaroslav Halak was the only reason keeping the Pens out of the ECF.

Buffalo will have their hands full when they play the Pens.

Some quick facts stemming from the game tonight:

-Crosby is the first player since Lemieux (02-03) to score 50+ points in 30 games.

-Fleury has won in his last 11 starts

-There was a stat they showed on VS that delt with Jagr, Lemieux and Crosby.

Its probably a good thing the Pens haven't played the Blue Jackets recently, as Broussard is really starting to heat up. His skill set is perfect to shred the pens weak defense. With Nash setting him up, he'd be poised for a big game, if only it was in the pens arena, as it would be awesome to see the place empty by the 3rd period.

How can these people cheer against Ryan Miller. He took USA to the gold medal game. Instead, they cheer for a Canadian who crushed the hopes of millions of American Hockey fans. So by cheering for Crosby you're cheering for Canada, and we all know Canada sucks. So lets break this down Crosby = Canadaian = Sucks = Pittsburgh = Home of QB's who rape helpless women. You should be proud Penguins fans...very proud!
