So when the turf gets bad in November, can they blame it on Batman? The earthquake effect looks pretty cool.

Gross, I shall be boycotting this now:

Steelers Have Roles In New 'Batman' Film
7th August, 2011 - 11:59 am
NFL.com - Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and about 12 of his veteran teammates participated Saturday in the filming of "The Dark Knight Rises," playing football players at Heinz Field.

The movie, which has been filming in Pittsburgh since July 29, moved to Heinz Field on Saturday morning, where fans were played by thousands of extras.

Those joining Roethlisberger included Hines Ward, Willie Colon, Maurkice Pouncey, Mike Wallace, Heath Miller, Aaron Smith, Ryan Clark, Troy Polamalu, James Farrior and Casey Hampton.

I don't like this move at all, and not bc I'm a Cleveland fan. This is something that would have been done with the old Batman franchise.

If this information is correct, I am nervous about this film. Nolan has never let me down, but whoa:

Filming wraps up today in Pittsburgh. Now moves to L.A.

This was in today's Post Gazette.

Rumor is that the first 8 minutes of The Dark Knight Rises will be attached to the newest Mission Impossible movie.

First 8 MINUTES? I don't know if ANY movie has every shown 8 CONSECUTIVE minutes of their movie as a preview before someone else's movie. Never seen it before.

If I remember correctly, the Dawn of the Dead remake showed the first 10 minutes as a preview.

The Brothers Bloom did it (7 minutes), but that was more of an arthouse/independent film.

The first 7 minutes were awesome, the rest of the film wasn't that great.

The article I read made it sound like it would be an 8 minute preview, not really the first 8 minutes of the movie.

Makes a lot more sense, still this has Spiderman 3/X-Men 3 written all over it.

Catwoman is an awful film character, and I'm not sure Hathaway can pull this off. Sounds like Nolan and Warner Bros. rushed into this without a coherent script so they are throwing more and more characters into a pile of crap.

I'm not real excited by her or Bane in all honesty

Not excited for Catwoman at all, but I am pumped [a little pun intended] for Bane.

Anne Hathaway is freaking beautiful. I can't wait to see what she does as catwoman.

They did it with The Dark Knight. The entire bank robbery scene was attached to I Am Legend in IMAX.

Hathaway is hot, I have no issue with her. Just not a fan of the Catwoman character

Interesting things from this article. TDKR takes place 8 years after The Dark Knight so there's not going to be much connection with what happened in that movie and The Joker. And Warner Bros. is already talking about another reboot of the franchise after this last Nolan/Bale movie.
