Sure, about 5 people account for over half of them, but that's still a lot of members for a minor league website.

How many of those "memberships" are the same individual though? I'm sure there are individuals on here who have created probably 10 or more accounts for whatever reason.

Love the website btw. Not hatin' at all. I think you did a phenomenal job.

I think, before anyone begins to feel too good about themselves, we need NCF to post here to inform us all of just how many people are currently on some other site he frequents, whether it be another Ohio sports site or WestVirginiaCousinSexxx(dot)com.

I'd guess maybe 10% (and that might be too high) are duplicate memberships. It's probably about 10% for all duplicates and "spam" accounts.

Also, ad revenue is determined by two things depending on the ad that is being displayed. Some ad revenue is based on page views, some ad revenue is based on the number of clicks an ad receives.

Does this explain the "game of the day"? I've clicked on it once or twice to only be linked somewhere else, thus my lack of participation. I don't have a problem with it, just curious.

No, I get nothing from that. I was under the impression that the game would be played right in the thread. I didn't think it was sending people elsewhere.

Once upon a time I posted a thread on JJHuddle about how to block the ads on their website using Adblock Plus. I was then banned.

That was during the time when they had ads at the top of the screen, on the sides AND fucking infolinks, too, wasn't it?

Yeah. The thread was around for multiple hours, and then it was removed, and then a few hours after that I was banned. I'm pretty sure that was my first account there.

I mainly remember feeling grateful that I got to see that thread before it was removed. All their crap, particularly the infolinks, was making that place unbearably slow on my old, slow home computer.
