I dont know why . My nephew and a few of his buddies went to Harding a few years back from Toronto and my younger nephew went to Wells academy and is in the second grade . Educational purposes only but the one kid will be a blue chip football player . His parents are teachers atleast one is anyway .. thing is a ton of kids come to Steubenville because it is head and shoulders above every other public school district in education in a 10 county wide area .. Edison is a failing district . incidently your principle is a Big Red grad and 84 team member just saying . You worry about a kid or two coming to Steubenville from Edison . Several more of Edison kids go to IC . When I lived in Steubenville . Downtown incidently . The kids next door to me went to Indian Creek .
Like one poster previously said maybe 5% of kids in public schols are open enrolment kids 100% of those Y Town kids are open enrollment and or voucher kids .

Why is it OK for kids to go from Edison (a failing school district) to Steubenville (a school with better academics) in your mind...but it's not OK for kids to go from the Youngstown City Schools (a failing school district) to Mooney (a school with better academics) in your mind? Why is it perfectly acceptable one way, but cheating the other? As much as you want to, you can't have it both ways.

And like another poster previously said, maybe 5% of the kids in private schools come from outside the private school feeder system. A better way to put that would be like this. At Austintown Fitch, 95% of the kids come from Austintown Middle School (or Austintown Fitch's feeder school), and 5% of the kids are open enrollment (those are your numbers I'm using). At Mooney, 95% of the kids come from St. Luke, St. Charles, Holy Family, St. Nicholas, and St. Christine (or Mooney's feeder schools), and 5% of the kids are from charter schools or coming from public grade schools.

Do you see the similarities?
