I didn't mention the "entire group" either, just the priests, yet you and the boys tried to make it look like I did. So....It's ok for you to hate the actions of the priests, but if I do, I'm a, "grand wizard"?

I hate the Catholic religion? Look, just because your priests are more, "active", than Charlie Sheen, and your coaches recruit at an alarming rate, doesn't mean I hate the religion. Grow up man.

Skank probably has 20 to 30 posts just on this thread where he mentions priests

He's obviously obsessed.

He needs professional help possibly due to some experience he had as a youth. There's nothing we can do but pity him (as I do)

He needs to take the positive steps to get help by himself.

Makes sense right?.. It just so happens they go out after excellant football players from very larg areas under no scrutiny ... Its simple math ...Its so plain and simple .
For the 8 millionth time, recruiting is just fine, so long as it's done for teh entire educational experience. Because publics restrict themselves to territorial districts doesn't mean privates have to do so. Open enrollment schools, which are the majority of publics, don't even have that restriction. And they're FREE! EVERYBODY there gets a full ride. How are privates even competing? It so happens that to compete, Catholic schools have to be better at everything. Otherwise people, even devoted Catholics, would choose the public schools. Do you believe that a school can make itself better in the classroom, or on the field or court? Why is it so hard to believe that some Catholic schools, particularly in an area where there are great public schools, would make itself better at everything in order to draw students? I don't know about other Catholic schools, but I do know about Alter. That's what Alter is constantly striving to do. Alter has earned 21 state championships in 11 different sports, including boys' volleyball last year. So are they going around recruiting volleyball players? Of course not. They just do everything they can to be as good as they can be with the kids who show up. You can believe what you want, but that is the truth.

I see Skank has again shown his true colors. He doesn't hate Catholics, just Catholic priests. Well, hate is hate. It eats you alive, Skank. I'll be praying for you.

Sad that this is considered OK in high school sports.

Didn't someone already post that it isn't that many states that have seperate playoffs? Or is that more of your selective hearing?

Two states, Maryland and Virginia, have separate public and private school championships and five states are public-private championship hybrids.
Then there is New Jersey where the football playoffs are divided into 20 sections, 16 public and four private, and each section crowns a state champion."

My point is that you cant charge a parochial school with any wrong doing ... How can you catch them doing anything wrong when they are not a state school? Two different set of rules apply .. But on the football field the publics must play against all star teams...... Public schools cant get away with near anything like your universities can .. one or two kids might slip by and get recruited illegally by a public school that isnt kosher by the OHSAA ...Privates on the other hand Its almost impossible to proove they do anything wrong .. I cant believe more people dont see this .. Or they choose not to

Massillon doesn't fall into that grouping, I don't know where you came up with that tt, neither does McKinley.

Look my true feelings are I dont want seperate playoffs ... i just would like to see a stop to these small catholic schools being able to build superpowers on the grid .. Public schools CANNOT do the same thing not even close ...Your are in denile or you choose to look the other way .. You should go on a Georgia forum or something ..

My time frame may be off I was just saying that Massillon and McKinley and Warren are under stricter guidlines than any Parochiol superpower ... In the past Ive seen several public schools sanctioned for minor offenses ...thata all

Maybe I am forgetting about something, but I can't remember the state making Warren Harding ineligible for the playoffs.

You probably need to take a logic class because your reasoning is going like this. Massillon and McKinley cheat, therefore anyone who beats them must have also cheated.

The Catholic Crusaders will never quit this rambling ... They figure its owed to them to be able to do these things because they all pay public taxes for public schools but choose to send kids to catholic schools .. they resent us and they will do whatever they can to get back monies they feel are owed to them and building football powers helps in a big way with monies

A Baptist can't play at a Catholic school? Maybe I'm the only one, but I have never watched a football game and tried to figured out (or cared) what religion every player on the field is.
