It looks like the proposal will fail and a serious push for separtate playoffs will be made. Look for separate playoffs within the next 5-6 years.

If schools voted against this proposal, why do you think they would do anything to separate the playoffs?

WHAT?!?! The votes aren't there? I've been hearing for months that change was coming and to embrace it.

Many public schools have stated that this proposal is too weak and of course doesn't do anything about D I football (other than move a few teams up or down). Stow's AD has been quoted that he would prefer separate playoffs rather than this weak proposal. Walsh's AD is going to vote no because of the "tradition" factor. The public schools will rise up and demand separate playoffs now. The commissioner's compromise proposal is much like the Proposal of 1850. It has just excellerated major change.

While the proposal is weak, I'd vote yes and then make adjustments and more changes (deal with D I football and "individual" sports ie wrestling) in the future. That is not the position of most folks. Major change will come within the next 5-6 years.

You're calling someone a sissy, but you're the one begging for a dude's phone number on the internet

You've got issues (and sorry, I don't go that way but I hope that you find the happiness that you deserve. You'll find the right guy!!)

Listen to the public school AD's and administrators throughout the state. The push for separate playoffs is real and has powerful backers.

I'm not trying to get into an internet pissing match here...but weren't you the guy that got pissed at me for using Campbell in an argument, and then asking my help figuring out how this proposal would affect them? Why don't you just cool it and quit calling people sissies over a message board?

You do realize, that you had very little credibility on the subject to begin with, right? And if this proposal fails, the little bit you had will be gone. So how can anyone take you seriously when you make claims about a large push for separate playoffs if this fails?

I can't wait until Stow and Akron North start their own organization. It should be some good football. :)

Unlike my fellow posters rocket and sherm I would love to see separate playoffs. Then the parochial schools can finally thumb their collective noses at the OHSAA and leave that organization for good. Then watch out for the recruiting to start. Of course the whining public schools will not schedule the parochial teams. SO WHAT!! Most schools are traveling all over hell's creation for games anyway. I hope for once you are right but I doubt it.

Whatever

You just make crap up. Your opinion, or gut feeling is actually NOT fact

The last proposal regarding separate playoffs went down 80-20

You are way out of touch. And as mentioned above you have zero credibility.

It is fun to make fun of you though. It's sooo easy
