Another reason that's been overlooked as to why certain public schools, (who recruit but don't have any actual State Championships) can't win, is because they play cupcakes from D.C. and Canada while running and hiding from the big, bad parochiols

Not naming names (see if skunk can figure it out)

But they don't come from out of state,do they? Can you say the same thing about Massilon? :o

Do you mean the Nike combine HELD in Massillon to showcase HS kids for colleges? Or the combine held by Cleveland area parochial high schools to recruit middle schoolers from all over the area?

Are the McDonalds nice in Michigan?

Massillon brought in several underclassman to their combine. They weren't just bringing in high school seniors.

Thank you for confirming what I have been saying all along. Read the article, about halfway down. Let me save you time, it says....And I quote. "He moved to Ohio because his father, Mychal, transferred for his job as VP of Diebold."

Nice try, all that work for nothing.

Show me in my post where I said Nike didn't bring in underclassmen. What, freshmen, sophomores and juniors have to wait until thier Sr. year to try and showcase themselves for colleges?

Anyway, if this upsets you, I guess you'll have to take it up with Nike. Just pick your battles, I wouldn't go questioning Nike AND Diebold on the same day. Good luck.

I'll have to agree with skank on this one. :cry:That was a combine put on by Nike Massillon was just the host facility.

I don't have any problem with it either. But you can't bash St. Ed or Ignatius for hosting a camp like Skank did when it happens in his own back yard.

I think this is something that should be brought up.

This public vs. private debate doesn't really exist in Michigan. Out of 16 teams in the finals (Michigan has 8 Divisions), 5 FIVE were Parochial Schools. This means that 11 were public high schools. I just find this very interesting.

According the rules they can do it. I'm just using it to show what a hypocrite he is because he cries when he thinks the private schools do it, but it is ok for Massillon to do.

So if a kid moves from another state to play for Massillon it is ok, but if a kid moves from another state and plays at a private school they are cheating?

What is so hard for you to understand about this? I've explained it over and again, you've seen it in print with your own two, (I presume) eyes, why the confusion?

What was Kempts parents supposed to do, say, "Kyle, mommy and daddy have to move all the way across the country for daddys work, we're going to leave you here by yourself, good luck?" Or was the VP of Diebold supposed to turn down the transfer, not to mention hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, so he could stay in Oregon, and look for work at the local Wal-Mart?

There we have it, your own words, "St. Ed or St. Ignatius....Holding a camp." Btw, it was ALL of the Cleveland area parochials, not just those two rule breakers.

Furthermore, in, "my own back yard", the camp is held by Nike. There are MAJOR differences in the two camps. And yes I can bash them for their camps.

So if the Cleveland private schools get a sponsor then they are ok to hold a combine? They just have to say that it is the "Under Armour" camp?

I am sure that parents of whatever Cincinnati kid that you are crying about also had jobs.

They dont .. Dont you think that if Massillon could do the same things as the catholic private schools do ,they would have won 10 more championships... Massillon is under a microscope just like McKinley and Warren and others . They cant get away with anything ..Dont you see that?

What, are you blind, or just plain stupid

Massillon has kids walking their halls from all over Stark County. Heck, they got a handful from McKinley just a couple of years ago

You are absolutely clueless if you believe they play with only home grown talent

And don't even give my that State Championship crap. It's pretty telling that they haven't won one in 40 years, coincidentally, just when they had to actually be earned on the field

40 to 90 year old pcs of paper are just that, PAPER. It quit being impressive a long time ago

Interesting that you brought up Wal-Mart

Is that blue vest still fitting over that gut of yours. You looked pretty sloppy the last time you greeted me and bagged my stuff

IF? IF? THEY ALREADY HOLD ONE. HELLO?

Nike holds multiple combines throughout the country, I believe there is another one held somewhere in Ohio. Again though, the two combines are apples and oranges.

It's not surprising to me that you think Wal-Mart is interseting, that's why I used that as an example, I knew you'd relate.

Sorry you thought I looked sloppy the last time you saw me, but had I known that you check out dudes, it wouldn't have changed a thing....I'm not like you. I'm also not surprised that you were ok with a sloppy dude, "bagging your stuff."

You make those references a lot
