you must kill it on your property. i stress KILL it.

if you shoot it and it runs off, you legally have to get permission to track it onto someone elses property. they may require you to have a license/tag etc. i think it's up to them.

i also think you're supposed to have that permission before you go hunting.

I don't want to kill the deer, I was simply asking a question as to what the laws would be if I did want to kill the deer in my backyard.

Not true. The is no acreage requirement currently. It has been tossed around along with a landowner registration program, but none of it ever went through.

Not true huh lol ok you can pay the ticket then lol. I didnt just make it up i got a ticket for it from the wildlife officer in champaign county. Dang I shouldve hired you as my lawyer maybe you couldve got me outta my ticket lol.
