To all of the other beer drinkers out there, what is your favorite flavor of brew? Are you a fine of lagers, ales, stouts, barley wines, etc.?

Personally, I like just about every beer I've ever had. The only exception is barley wines. I've never had one that I enjoyed. I'm a HUGE fan of ales and lagers.

My favorite beer I've ever had is probably Karl Strauss Red Trolley Ale. There are a few Karl Strauss breweries here in San Diego, and this is my favorite of their brews.

I have to admit, since moving away from the East Coast I have definitely started to miss Yuengling. That was pretty much the only beer I drank while I was stationed in New York.

I'm also a big fan of draft ciders. My favorites so far are Woodchuck (especially the Amber and 802 varities) and Strongbow (especially when its on tap).

Budweiser would have to be my favorite but I'm very open to drinking a number of brews. Yuengling, PBR, Killian's Irish Red, Wild Blue, and Corona round out my general rotation.

Not to sound like an ass, but every beer is either an ale or lager, just different types; Stouts and Barley Wines are ales. Also not sure what Barley Wines you have drank in the past, but I love them, give Sierra Nevada Bigfoot a try.

Back on topic, I don't have a favorite style, I generally go through phases of one style and then move on to another. Right now I'm trying to get into Sours. Some of my favorite beers...

Jolly Pumpking Bier de Mars
Chimay Grande Reserve
Founders Breakfast Stout
Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye
