Interesting that you would do that to a 'fellow' Brown's fan.

Yup not surprised about this at all. I've been to several cities and been to both MLB and NFL games, and drunk Cleveland fans are always the worst.

I don't mind a little verbal ribbing...I expect it.

Getting physical is going too far. If you defend that then sorry....you're a fucking moron.

Agreed, verbal ribbing is okay as long as it doesn't severely cross the line. Any kind of physical interaction is never okay.

Are fans really complaining about cussing at an NFL game?

The Brown's need to get this under control...my suggestion would be to quit selling beer.

With 8 to 10 year old kids sitting there and every 3rd word out of the Brown's fan's mouth was FUCK at the top of his lungs......yes. It was inappropriate.

And not just by my standards either....the NFL has a 'Fan Code of Conduct' policy posted on the Cleveland Browns website:

"The National Football League and its teams are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all fans, both in the stadium and in the parking lot. We want all fans attending our games to enjoy the experience in a responsible fashion. When attending a game, you are required to refrain from the following behaviors:

· Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature
· Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
· Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
· Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects onto the field)
· Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel
· Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans

"Event patrons are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons occupying their seats. Stadium staff will promptly intervene to support an environment where event patrons, their guests, and other fans can enjoy the event free from the above behavior. Event patrons and guests who violate these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund and loss of ticket privileges for future games."

So I take it you've never gone over the speed limit, or littered, or done anything illegal in your whole life?

They're just words. Your kid is going to say them eventually. You are that crazy about your kid hearing cuss words, don't bring em to a damn NFL game.

Oh really? Typical? So since I'm a Browns fan, soon as I leave work in about an hour I'm gonna shove an 8 year old kid over?

bull shit

I can see if you're wearing those colors and bragging in somebody's face and trying to rub it in, then you're going to get decked

but just walking to the stadium or sitting in your seats enjoying the game you shouldn't get attacked by some drunken lunatic

especially not a kid

I've got to agree with wkfan. Sure it is to be expected to hear some curse words, but to think it's okay because your kid will hear those words eventually is just dumb. It's called having common sense and being courteous to others. Sure when the Jets score, you might hear a "Fuck". But to use it regularly is really just unnecessary and inexcusable.

Wasn't my kid....mine are 22 and 25.

I was embarrassed that these supposed adults caused some young people's parents to leave the game early due to their behavior.

You defending bad behavior with the excuse "So I take it you've never gone over the speed limit, or littered, or done anything illegal in your whole life" is no real surprise.

See, that's a double standard. If it's in the rules, then you should not ever hear a cuss word at a football game. Whether it's said 3 times or 500 times should not matter. If you're gonna tell me it's not okay to cuss, but it is okay to cuss after the opposing team scores a TD, i'm gonna say that's bullshit.
