Sadly I doubt that any of the major media outlets will report the eyewitness accounts. I could be totally wrong but I haven't seen many articles yet. They jumped at the chance to make Cleveland look bad but won't take the time to investigate the story.

anybody see what rob parker said about it? basically made it out to be that browns fans formed a fan tunnel from the stadium to the muni lot and cheered on the fan and this fan was in full sprint as he maliciously ripped the 8 year old away from his dad and speared him into the ground.

wouldn't want any media outlets to even think about investigating to see if the story is actually true and not some greatly excaggerated stumble

Yeah. It was awful. It amazes me that somebody would write this article without doing any sort of research on it. There have been multiple eyewitness accounts from people who said it went nothing like that. The mother (who wasnt even there) was the one that did all the talking. The family turned down free tickets and merchandise. The father refuses to comment on the subject. Sounds like Balloon Boy 2 just looking for a free ride. What a joke

Yeah. That's the sort of writing that probably makes anyone who is in journalism (like me) wince, facepalm and loudly yell "AND THAT'S WHY SO MANY PEOPLE LOOK AT MY PROFESSION AS SHIT!!!!". Basically taking a one-sided version of a story, doing no fact-checking and utterly blasting a fanbase for reasons that...well, don't look to actually exist. But, hey, he got online hits and that's what counts.
