Playing for the Browns. :) Probably one of my all time favorite non OSU college football players. I don't follow the NFL like I used to but and would rather see the Browns lose than see the Bengals win any day of the week. However, this week I found myself cheering the Browns on for Colt. Although the one time I do they go ahead and lose anyway but not his fault. I hope he becomes a star but just after they trade him :)

Had a hard time liking him in college, due mostly to losing to Texas. But you can't argue his mobility, command of the offense, and completion percentage while there.

plus his girlfriend is smokin'

Colt was also one of my favorite non-OSU college players of all time. Luckily, I'm a Browns fan!! :D

I actually liked Colt McCoy at UT.

I love him even more now.

However, this is a stupid thread.

You know, they do have to live somewhere.

Her mother did have to help her move up here.

She does go to church.

She is trying to do some things in the community and is looking for a place to "carry out" her plans.

The two of them do have a need for professional services.

He was the one QB in this draft I really, really wanted the Browns to draft.

Needless to say, I was thrilled when he fell to the third round and they were able to get him, anyway.

I hope he ends up being the steal of this entire draft.

He's making the Browns' front office look very good for picking him.

yeah and it looks like it is one less position they have to worry about for the draft. Receiver, DE, LBs can be addressed better now.

Colt is playing well. Hopefully he continues to do so.

/Steeler fan but also someone who feels the Cleveland pain as far as sports go (Cavs, Indians, etc).

Not too much of a fan of his in college, but he was the QB I was hoping the Browns would draft. I knew we weren't getting a QB in the first round, but every time we passed on him I was thinking it was a mistake. When we finally got him, I couldn't believe he fell as far as he did. Either everyone was making too much of his championship game injury or there was more backstory the rest of us weren't privy to. Either way. He's here now. And from the way he's playing, he's going to be here for quite a while.

People ragged on his arm strength and height...

But in college, his arm strength was very good. I don't think your arm gets weaker in the NFL, it should be the other way around.

And from what I've seen, his arm strength is just fine. Plus he's hella accurate.

Amen! I love draft time, and it will be interesting on where we are in the draft order...I'm saying probably the 8-15th pick.

First rounders that I would love for the Browns to get: Of course only one of them, but I would be happy with any of these players.

I don't get the analysts most of the time. Especially on ESPN. I love the network, but Jesus...get some folks on there who know their shit!

I'm a dedicated listener to ESPN radio, especially here in Columbus, and all I heard about was the passes that McCoy missed in the 4th and OT, they said and I quote "Peyton Manning would make those throws in the clutch."

Uhh, Colt is a rookie....and if I do remember correctly, Manning in his Rookie season played on a 2-14 Colts debacle.

All I can say is this...give the kid some time, let him learn the offense, he according to all the Browns insiders is a hard worker and he works even harder in the NFL classroom. Give the kid a solid 2-3 years of a chance. Right now, he is doing more than any Browns QB has done for us since Bernie Kosar....

Given us a reason to believe....

Go Browns!
