They could have got lined up and spiked it with a second or 2 left if he caught it. Then you have 1 play from the 3 yard line. I like those chances better than throwing another 30 yard heave into the end zone.

I think this week, because I think the Browns are the better team this time.

It would have been nice to have a timeout on that final drive. The Browns coaching staff let them down today.

very true. Also would have been nice if Stuckey would have not been a retard and ran straight for the sideline.....he is terrible.

I thought it started with 18 seconds. Whatever, it doesn't matter. The Browns suck again.

Colt still impressed me with his toughness. He looked like a rookie for the first time today during some stretches, but that's to be expected.
This team just needs some playmakers on offense. Point blank.
We also need the OLine to man up. That was a pathetic performance today.

I hate being a Cleveland fan.
But at least the Browns didn't blow a 21 point lead and get stomped by the Bills today, so we have that going for us.

All I want to see is Colt, Ward, and Haden improve individually and team keep staying in games.
I'm suprised as hell about how good we've been without the following:
1. 2 good wide recievers and a legit #1
2. We don't have a #2 runinng back
3. We don't have a dominate pass rusher. We need 2 of those as well.
4. Elam played well today but he needs replaced as well.
5. We're starting a rookie 3rd round QB who looks decent with no WRs at all.

As far as I'm concerned, this loss is on the OL and Dabol's refusal to change his play calling. After the 1st quarter Hillis had nowhere to go. Their DL was constantly in the backfield. They knew what was coming on 1st and 2nd down. Throw the fucking ball on 1st down off play action. It's really that simple. There's no excuse for the Jaguars to even be in that game with 6 TOs. The defense did their job today. It really sucks because IMO the better team lost today.

I agree with that. Daboll's playcaling cost the Browns the game. Its easy to play defense when you know whats coming.

Mary Kay Cabot is reporting on Twitter that Colt McColt hobbled to the locker room after the game and is undergoing xrays. No results yet.

I thought I heard they were negative. He had a boot on though.
EDIT: I was wrong. No results yet.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy leaves Jacksonville loss in walking boot
Mary Kay Cabot, The Plain Dealer
Posted:11/21/2010 5:54 PM
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Browns quarterback Colt McCoy left the Jacksonville loss in a walking boot, the kind his fellow quarterbacks Seneca Wallace and Jake Delhomme were wearing this season for their high ankle sprains.
No diagnosis has been given yet for McCoy's injury. He will undergo further exams Monday in Cleveland. McCoy injured the ankle on an 11-yard sack in the third quarter on a bootleg play.
For a short period of time, Wallace warmed up on the sidelines. But McCoy said he wanted to stay in the game and felt he could finish.
Wallace said he had no idea why they didn't go to him. "I just go in when they tell me,'' he said.
Later in the fourth, McCoy scrambled for 18 yards on the field goal drive that put the Browns up 20-17, but came up limping even more severely after that.
McCoy said no conclusions could be drawn from his post-game X-rays. He completed only 7-of-14 attempts in the second half.

I hope it's not serious. He needs the experience the rest of the year.

Brain dead offensive plan in the second half. The guy( Daboll) alternates between genius and retardedness. As far as I'm concerned, this loss is on the OL and Dabol's refusal to change his play calling

After watching this game, I can't think of a worse WR group in the entire NFL. This group can't buy separation, its remarkable how McCoy is doing with the lack of talent at the position. We need 2 WRs in the offseason.
