Huge game ...We got destoyed by New England and it sucked.... Glad Reed is gone I am sick of him missing big kicks for us ..He is salty for not getting a contract and when I read the paper today I was very pleased ...Now about Oakland we gave that game away last year .. Had that pick right in the breadbasket last year and was dropped .....Redemption is needed ..I dont think we can look any worse than what we did last Sunday ...

Per Pittsburgh radio, Reed's agent said he had several phone calls and two offers, one of them from the Bungals. Reed declined both offers stating he wanted the "weekend off". Unbelievable!

Further evidence of what you're getting yourself into when signing this guy...you know, cause the rigors of being an NFL kicker are so strenuous.

sounds like Keisel will be out again
he was limited in practice all week
I thought getting him back would be big against the Raiders, who are a good running team, looks like it will again be Eason and Hood at the defensive end spots

I just realised that the Raiders have John Henderson, perhaps the GOAT of all time even greater than Bob Wickman + Watson.

The Raiders defensive line has been playing outstanding. Seymour, Kelly, and company.
I don't know. I could see the Steelers being a lot more focused and prepared this week but I still think they're going to have some matchup problems.
Raiders have a better defensive line vs. Steelers offensive line and the Raiders should have a chance to run the ball with both Steelers defensive ends out.

The Steelers really need to make a commitment to the run early in the game this week. Oakland's pass defense is damn good. Their run D....not so good. It goes without saying but if Mendenhall can have some success early in the game......the Steelers can set up the pass....play action.....TD Mike Wallace.

Heading down again this week. So far 0-2 this year in attending games.
Also, I wore my Hines throwback last week. First time I ever worse a Ward jersey to a game and he got a concussion and his streak of 186 games with a catch ended. So that was my fault.

I'm sure you Steeler fans remember Brian St. Pierre. He's starting for Carolina this week.

I laughed at this, mainly because it is true... (Sheetz goes no further than Zanesville)

I know the crowd will be down after last week but hey I remember going to games watching Mark Malone and Bubby Brister. This ain't so bad, 6-3 in a tie for first in mid-November.

According to Ed Bouchette.....Darrius Heyward-Bey and Nnamdi Asomugha are both out for Oakland. Keisel out for the Steelers. Polamalu practiced later this week and felt fine.
