Or is it because Nebraska lost to unranked, 6 loss Texas..or Stanford was blown out by Oregon, while squeaking past teams like Washington St?

Pick Six,maybe because Ohio State lost to the only good team they have played so far.

Here are the wins for the respective teams:

Ohio State:
Marshall
Miami
Ohio
Eastern Michigan
Illinois
Indiana
Purdue
Minnesota
Penn State
Wins vs Ranked Teams:1

Stanford:
Sacramento State
UCLA
Wake Forest
Notre Dame
USC
Washington
Washington State
Arizona
Arizona St
Wins vs Ranked Teams:2

Nebraska:
Western Kentucky
Idaho
Washington
South Dakota State
Kansas State
Oklahoma State
Missouri
Iowa State
Kansas
Wins vs Ranked Teams:2

Do you honestly believe that Ohio State deserves to be ranked above Nebraska or Stanford?

AP is for shits and gigs, coaches counts in the postseason, which they are banned from. Therefore they cannot be ranked in the coaches poll

The coaches poll is tied to the BCS, so I am inclined to favor the independent AP poll.

Lol...right. Because selling newspapers and periodicals is synonymous with "independence".

How does that have anything to do with what I said?

So wait a minute...

OSU should be punished for losing to the "Best team" on their schedule, but Nebraska should be ranked ahead of them for losing to a 6 loss Texas team?

Hmmm...

Compare Ohio State and Nebraskas wins...that is why Nebraska should be above them...Stanford too

Yeah, I compared them... Nebraskas schedule sucks. And they lost to 6 loss Texas.

Stanford doesn't have an impressive win in my eyes either.

But Ohio State does??

You do know that Nebraska beat the No.10 team in the the country by 10 points right?? That isn't an impressive win?

Impressive, of course.. But they also were dominated by a 6 loss Texas team, so that, in mine and the voters eyes, offsets. In fact, I'd say losing to a 6 loss Texas team is by far more unimpressive than beating the "#10" team in the country is impressive.

Yes.

Texas went up 20-3.

Held Nebraska to 202 yards of total offense (an offense that averages ~437 yards a game.)

Nebraska's only TD came from a Punt Return late in the 4th quarter.

Why, do you disagree that Texas went out and dominated that game?

I disagree that Ohio State is two spots too high, but you could easily argue that they are. Their schedule has been very weak IMO. I'd have a hard time saying Nebraska is better but I could understand somebody thinking Stanford is better

Stanford's schedule isn't much better than Ohio State's if at all, and by the end of the year will be worse.

What? Even if they pick up that "key win" over Oregon State?

The BCS show listed Oregon State as a key win for both Boise and TCU. People continue to sell those teams as deserving of a national title shot while claiming Ore St as the 1st or 2nd best win on their schedule.
