Oregon, 15, California, 13.

I can't really see them dropping. #2 Auburn and #3 TCU both won poorly against so-so teams.

I don't think they should drop.

Most teams have a scare like this

At least not out of the top two. It's still Oregon and Auburn.

ironic that Oregon saved its season with a long time-consuming drive that resulted in no points

they've been a quick strike, hurry up and score offense all year

Tedford needs to go IMO. He gets a lot of pub for never really doing anything.

Quite simple really. 1:38 was left on the clock and Cal had no timeouts. If they accept that penalty, it's 2nd and 20 and the game clock rolls off ~25 seconds before Oregon has to snap the ball. 1:13 at minimum would remain on the clock before they even snap the ball, not including how long the next play lasts, so realistically it could be somewhere between 1:05-1:09 before the next 40 second clock has to start. 3rd down doesn't have to take place until ~:25 because of the 40 second clock and then a knee would end the game.

The real issue I had with Cal's coaching was the stupidity on the drive at the end of the 3rd quarter/beginning of the 4th. Cal ran 3 consecutive run plays to the short side of the field, causing the angle of the field goal posts to become an issue. However, that does not excuse a missed 29 yard field goal, when he made the 24 yard field goal at a sharper angle.

The marijuana smoke slowed down Oregon.

Its going to be up to Oregon State but imo the Ducks can be stopped

I can only hope Boise St gets another crack at Oregon. They will beat them just like they did last season. Oregon has been exposed that they can be handled.

that procedure penalty against the kicker was a killer--tough break
