I just read your Region 14 Blog and it made me chuckle.
I could feel the love for Genoa Area all throughout.
LOL

My running theme for them was that it wasn't about the regular season for them. 10-0 was a given. So far they've more than proved themselves in the playoffs.

No doubt. No matter the outcome Friday night I hope most feel the same.

For the record...I have literally eaten crow before.
Killed it and cooked it myself. I had to try it since I killed it, that's how I was raised. Only kill things you intend on eating.
I wasn't a fan.
But I bet it still had to be better eating than the crow some from Genoa had to eat last year.
YUKKKK!!!
No crow on the menu this year for either team.
Just respect.
I like that.

Doesn't "infarction" have something to do with a heart attack? ;-)

Well said! May the best team win tomorrow and hopefully the riders can pull out the win!

Whatever the outcome both communities have a lot to be proud about!

I just realized something with those stats from 5knots. You can crack on somebody and they probably will never see it because they won't bother to scroll back and read all that they have missed with the tons of posts on here.

For example: I could say that I am ticked at Leonardo for starting this thread, instead of letting a Genoa or Orrville Chatterer do it. Or I could say that I'm going to run down to the field at the game and give Obi-Wan-Haus a Dutch Rub. They will never see it because they are too self-absorbed to care what anybody has to say and just want to post their immediate thought.

Well, it would seem that the proverbial hatchet has been buried between these two communities(at least on these forums anyways).....I have NO CLUE as to whats going to happen tomorrow night.....Would LOVE to see the Comets pull this out.....But if they don't, the good will that has been flying all over this thread will make that loss a little easier to deal with.....(I said a LITTLE...HA).....All i wanna see, is an injury free........good old fashion...... smash mouth football game........Where every kid out there gives it everything he's got....I'll be looking for that brown RV 5knots.........I'm the guy pushing the guy in a wheelchair........Travel safe..........see ya at the game!!!!

Most importantly nobody beats themselves!
The opposing team forces the mistakes!
That is key to maintaining a respectable relationship between The 'Ville and Gtown this time around.
No excuses.
Looking back at last year's highlight film though I gotta say "Did we really muff two handoffs without a Rider anywhere nearby?" :D
Kidding! I'd be looking for Hoobler too instead of the ball !!!!!

Funny how people come to conclusions in picking games. Many people from genoa and around town in Orrville say genoa beat CF and CF beat orrville. Genoa will win based on that logic. Maybe, but when Orrville played Triway in week 2 it was 41-19 orr. Triway scored 7 against the 1st D and the rest against 2nd D. When playoffs came the word was Orr beat Triway big first time we will do it again. Score was 27-25. Just goes to show that any given week good teams can play great or have everything go wrong. This should be a great game both teams will be fired up. Special teams, turnovers and penalties will no doubt play huge in the ultimate outcome.

Ditto on the safe travels.....lots of young people traveling unfamiliar roads tomorrow. Put the cellphone down and focus on the road.

Be safe everyone.
