Not to mention the incoming Freshman class featuring QB Brody Tonn, this kid can put the ball on the spot, and throws a frozen rope, he also has VERY good running skills.

Coach Hall and the entire staff did an excellent job with conditioning and strength training last year, and with another year under his belt, I expect it to be taken to the next level.

Not to mention the four extra weeks of practice these kids have gotten, and a better knowledge of the offense and defense.

Now, it's time to get the classrooms/locker rooms done in the South endzone. That falls into the hands of the School Board and Jeff David.

Let's get it done folks.

The schedule

H Ak. Buchtel
A Can. GlenOak
H Stow
H Ak. Firestone
-(Not sure) Garfield this year
-(Not sure) St. Ignatius this year
H Steubenville
A Warren G. Harding
-(open) Mentor this year, Mentor will move to 5th or 6th slot.
H Can. McKinley

A more manageable schedule, with a break in the 6-10 spots.

Massillon went 7-0 at home (including the Hoover playoff game) and only 1-3 on the road (in the regular season) including losses to Steubenville, Cleveland St. Ignatius and Canton Mckinley. In 2010, Massillon will have Steubenville and Canton McKinley at home, and Ignatius is off the schedule. An early road test at defending Federal League Champion GlenOak will be key, as will a mid season trip to Mentor, and a trip to Warren later in the season.

Can the Tigers take the next step? Stay tuned.

Massillon is going to be dangerous with Tonn at the helm. Tonn throwing to Smith and Olack is going to be scary. I don't see them losing a game next year.

Again, I think Massillon will be very good next year. Coach Hall will have another full year to work with the young men and mold them more to his system and liking.

I think Massillon will have many skill position players next year. I think they will have to build a new O line and find some DB's and D linemen. I'm sure they are there...Coach Hall just needs to find them...and he will. Next season seems so far away, but will be on us before we know it. Can't wait.

I am sure he has a gas card in hand, ready to start his travel plans also. Good Luck next year Massillon.

I have an idea, why don't you do something constructive, and start a Hoover thread?

As usual, ours started later in the season than Dovers.

Why not have your AD contact our AD? Seriously. Or is that 34-0 beat down still too vivid?
Do you have an open date in week #9? We always like a cupcake before the McKinley battle.

Massillon hasn't completed the DREAM project, this is true, but it only makes it that much sweeter that we beat Hoover in academic challenge. Yes....Hoover was beaten by the dumb old Massillon Tiger academic challenge team. Massillon kids smarter than Hoover kids? This is correct. Domination in football, basketball, (yes I know that Hoover has won the last several, but Massillon still holds a 27-8 lead in the bball series), and now....academics. Ouch.

You're absolutely correct about the blind squirrel finding a nut, a classic example is the 14-7 game of which you speak. Also, 14-7 would be two NUMBERS, not two words. My goodness.

Are the 4 student/athletes whom "transfered" on this list? Or have their names still been kept quite for now?
