Plus it's hard to get a good read on everyone when you're trying to watch your team. Good luck this season.

Massillon again looked decent in the county wide (plus St Ed.) 7 on 7 at Don Scott and Fawcett.
Massillon's freshman competed in the first session against Hoovers freshmen, and did pretty well. Massillon has a freshman QB named D.J. Brown who must stand about 6'1", and boy does he throw a nice ball, as far a recievers go, looks like the freshmen team is like the varsity....loaded.
Massillon's JV team didn't look that great, but the big question is, why was the Sr. (Anthony McCormick), playing exclusively with the JV's?
As far as the Varsity is concerned, I thought in the third session, (the first for the Varsity), vs St. Edward, that Massillon looked extreamly well offensively. Tonn got most of, if not all of the reps vs St. Ed. the recievers made some great catches, and Tonn threw some nice passes.
Olack and Smith are getting alot of reps on defense.

I haven't been to PBTS since the 1970's. I'm looking forward to being there on Oct. 8 when my boys from Big Red invade. I hope both teams are undefeated then. We'll fill that stadium!

Breaking news.
Massillon has dropped the Canadian team from the week nine slot this year and replaced them with Avon Grove Pa.. Avon Grove plays in Pennsylvanias biggest school division and reached the Pa. district semi finals last year with an 11-2 record. They had three, (3), yes I said THREE, backs rush for over a thousand yards last year, though only one returns, (one graduated and one transfered). It is a one year contract for now....with it being scheduled for PBTS, a possibility exists that the Tigers could travel to Pa. next year.
So, a major upgrade in scheduling preparation wise, and I'm quite sure computer point wise also.

O'Hara from Tonawanda, NY, or is there another O'Hara? Big Red plays the team from NY.

As processes go, the one to determine who will start along the Massillon Tigers’ offensive line this season has been a slow one. Not all of that, however, is of the Tigers’ doing.
Coming out of the offseason, there was no true front-runner for the starting quarterback’s job for the Massillon Tigers. And little has changed four days into two-a-day practice, as sophomores Brody Tonn and Kyle Kempt continue to battle with senior Anthony McCormick for the right to take the first snap in the season opener on Aug. 26.
Spider Miller was talking on Monday about the format of the Massillon Tigers practices, specifically the way the team is broken down into an orange team and a white team. As he did so, he paused for a moment before saying, “I hope I didn’t say red there.”
The Massillon Tigers have been playing football since the late 1800s. The Avon Grove (Pa.) Red Devils don’t even take their football heritage back to the late 1900s.
