It's football at Duke. Most of the students probably don't even know that there's anything going on after the tailgates. I bet they set up and watch old Duke Basketball games on DVD while the football game is going on a few hundred yards away.

It won't last long. I'm sure the attendance at Duke football games isn't the best anyways. When they do away with tailgating, it will drop even more. Eventually, they will bring it back to try to get people to come back to the games.

Same thing happened at YSU a few years ago. They did away with tailgating. Ticket sales dropped. They brought back tailgating. People came back.
