just keeping it real for a second and not being overconfident, I can't see the Steelers finishing worse than 10-6 this year

No, I don't see the Steelers having a worse year than 9-7. Who knows though this year

If Troy Polamalu gets injured I could very easily see the Steelers finishing 8-8. From an outside perspective he seems to the most important player on defense.

LOL at some of these Clown fan comments!

BTW, as Non stated, the Steelers are banged up but only one key guy is missing. As long as Ben stays healthy and the defense keeps playing the way they have, they'll be a force to be reckoned with the rest of the way. The offense hasn't even begun to gel yet and they're still 6-2.

You prove my point! Just like the rest of the dumb fuck haters on here, you have zero to stand on when it come to the Clowns versus the Steelers, so you bring up ND which has absolutely nothing to do with the topic.......and you want to use the word "fail"? Fail is a better description of your pathetic attempt and the state of the Clown franchsie.

Proving your point when you resort to Capone trollish tactics? LMAO idiot. I thought it was funny that a fan of a shitty college team was trying to act superior bc the steelers were 6-2 even though the college team you root for is the laughing stock of NCAAF. then you bring up the term FAIL bc you failed hard and it pissed you off that I called you out on it. You have yet to say anything of any substance to counter act why the steelers will be beaten this weekend other than trying to make fun of the Browns. Nice FAIL dumbass, go back to hanging out with Capone.

People, please just ignore the two butt buddies on here and quit quoting their posts so that I don't have to read their garbage. It's sickening how pathetic the two are.

This thread is pure trash now.

If we could get rid of the pot-stirring TROUBLEMAKERS (Modell and COA).....this board (and consequently Steelers and Browns threads) would be much better.

I'm dumb? Look at your logic.......you think the Steelers will lose to New England because the Clowns just beat them, now that's stupidity at it's best! What's funnier is a fan of the "SHITTIEST" NFL team for the last 10 years runs "her" (that's right, you act like a bitch) mouth when you've beaten the Steelers once in how long? The mind is a terrible thing to waste................I'm willing to bet your life is a pathetic failure too.

Start a petition, please!

As for the game at hand, the Steelers are now in their fifth game with Roethlisberger back and he should start to really return to form now.

After the Browns beat the Patriots playing "Steelers football", you have to think that the Steelers can dominate in similar fashion. But you have to think Belichick makes adjustments and doesn't let this team get on a losing streak.

New England plays Indianapolis after Pittsburgh so they could go from 6-1 to maybe 6-4 if they're not careful.

They'll come back with a strong performance this week, though. They've talked about it in the press how they didn't have a good week of practice last week and whenever a good team regroups like that and starts the next week determined, with a better attention to detail, you can expect a different team.

It's up to the Steelers to match it. Primetime game at home they should but with the short week and some of the injuries it seems like they could lose this game in the preparation.

How hard is it to keep to the topic at hand, i.e. the game? FFS.

Ed Bouchette from the Post Gazette provided this stat
The Steelers have held opponents to 75 yards rushing or fewer in each of the first eight games, the only time in NFL history a defense has done that.

Thats an impressive stat for sure. containing Hillis for under 100 is almost inhuman. Considering the Pats running game I expect the trend to continue.

Hopefully this gives them a little extra spark knowing they can move into first place alone.

Also, sadly, have to pull for Cleveland. Jets lose. Steelers win. Outright lead in the AFC standings.

I'm happy to pull for Cleveland. As long as they aren't playing the Steelers I hope they can win most of their games (assuming they aren't threatening to overtake Pittsburgh's record).

Let it be known, I would never root for the Steelers.
