Actually, this is a very distinct possibility, Buchtel beat us last year, yeah, we had 7 turnovers, alot of them in Buchtel territory, but they did what they had to do to win, and they deserved it.
GlenOak had us on the ropes before we decided to wake up and start playing football.
I think everyone kind of thinks of Maumee as a small school....Wake up people, they're DII, and they're good.
Hoban, who knows what they will bring to the table, but I doubt they put Massillon on the schedule expecting to be average.
Warren, Steubenville and McKinley. Enough said.
Oh, and by the way sept. we're still waiting on the second year of that contract....34-0.

On the bright side, our JV team went 7-1, beating Buchtel, GlenOak, Stow, Steubenville & Warren by a combined 162-12. Their only loss came to St. Edward 14-20. Our other two wins were over Mentor 52-18 and Firestone 48-24.

We old timers recall when every other week was a huge game throughout Buckeye Land. That was prior to the six divisional four region playoff system. The regular seasons may not be as exciting but the playoffs certainly makeup for it!

Was in South Jersey this past weekend (wife was in a wedding). Stop at a diner for breakfast Saturday morning. Of course I had my Massillon hat on (Orange with just Obie logo in front). A man who was eating breakfast across from us, seen my hat, asked if I was from Massillon, and started talking high school football with me. Said that he has heard of Massillon, and said that they are know through out the area. Nice to know that Massillon still has national recognition.
This is coming from an area where high school football on friday nights, gets about 2500 people showing up. Not very big of a football area.
Brought a smile to my face. Thought I would share it.
Thats all. Thank you.
