The end of the 2010 season marks the beginning of the 2011 season. No doubt the 2010 season didn't go the way most had expected, and I figure the expectations for the 2011 campaign will be less demanding, (outside of Massillon). Massillon will enter the 2011 season with 803 wins in their storied history, they will once again be led by Jason Hall. In his previous three seasons he has led the Tigers to a 23-13 record, three playoff appearances, and a regional title. The staff under him remains to be seen, I expect Jeff Huffman to be the offensive coordinator. Hall preaches the 'PFP' system he learned under Larry Kehres at MUC, 'Players, formations, Plays', which utilizes the talent you have on your roster as opposed to sticking with a single offensive philosophy. Though I expect the O in 2011 will look similar to the one in 2010.

The schedule is not complete, yet, here is what we have now. For now, Mentor is gone due to joining a league, this schedule, as of now includes 4 playoff teams from 2010, Buchtel, Steubenville, Warren & McKinley.

Akron Buchtel----H
Canton GlenOak----H
Maumee----H
OPEN----H/A
Akron Firestone----H
OPEN----H/A
Steubenville----A
Warren G. Harding----H
OPEN----H/A
Canton McKinley----A

Kyle Kempt will have a whole year under his belt, will have a year to mature, and a year to grow. Despite being a Sophomore this season, he has shown he makes good decisions already, and throws a pretty nice ball.

Some others who have gotten alot of time during the 2010 season are.

Robbie Plants--OLB (VERY tough kid)
Garrett Kreiger--S/WR (tough, smart kid, look for him to be a leader on the D)
Alex Winters--S/RB (1,000 yd rusher as a soph. injuries derailed his Jr. season)
Brandon Jackson--OLB/TE (look for him to take over for Seth Nalbach at starting OLB opposite Plants)
Kentrell Taylor--LB/RB (at 6'0" 240, if he hits the weight room and keeps his weight down....LOOK OUT)
Azavier Robinson--LB (lost his entire Jr. season due to injury)
Ben Hampton--C (a broken leg vs Steubenville cost him the remainder of his Jr. season)
Mykal Mayle--G (another returning lineman)
Chris Calhoun--DB/RB (a Barry Sanders style runner, should add depth to the RB position
Brody Tonn--QB/ATH (should add depth to the QB position)
Eric King--DE (injuries cost this starter half his Jr season)

A few promising newcomers

Jeremy Gruno--DL (at 6'2" 290 should help stop the run next year)
Devante Oliver--OT (at 6'3" 260 should help our running game next year)
Logan Curry--DE/TE (hopefully adds another weapon for Kempt at the TE position)
Emmanual Brantly--DL (another run stopper)
Tre Hendricks--LB/TE (6'3" 195lbs tough kid, if he can put some weight on, could be a force at ILB)
Ryan Rambo--LB/ATH (at 6'0" 175 this kid has moves, breaks tackles, could play some reciever next year)
Damion Smith--DB/WR (Devin Smith's little brother, could be a good one also)
Jim Mutigli--DE (already 6'1" 225)
Chris Arndt--DE/OL (6'2" 240)
Marcus Daniels--DL (6'0" 240)
Justin Blake-Coon--DB (6'1" 175)

Some notable incoming freshmen

D.J. Brown--QB (already 6'3" throws a nice ball and runs well also, played JV last year as a freshman)
Marcus Whitfield--WR (already about 6'2" look for him to contribute next yr. as a soph. could be the next star)
Beau Huffman--(already about 6'3", good bloodlines, brother of Duke's Brett Huffman)
Alex Dailey--(also good bloodlines, brother of Penn State's Andrew Dailey)
Chase Lash--DL/OL (this kid is big)
Tanner Yoder--DL/OL (also big)

This thread is lovingly dedicated to Skank, who seems a bit lost wandering around week 12.

I guess I could ask a Dover fan for advise as to how I should handle an early playoff exit.

So....How do I do it? Experience is a great teacher....Help me out Dover fans. PLEASE.

Perhaps try congradulating the opposing team and humility, just a thought. the archives are here for your reference. Hijacking anothers team thread seems to be against all you stood for all season, perhaps my copy of the rule book doesnt extend to week 12.

You know, to be honest, I typed a whole paragraph in response to this post, then I thought, "What the hell are you doing skank, trying to rationalize with people from Dover who, understandably don't have a history & have little tradition." So....I let it go. Have fun with the biggest win in school history.

You know, thinking back, and btw, this is my last comment on this subject, I remember on, (sorry Justin), JJ Huddle, back in 2005, when the Dover people were telling Massillon folk how they were gonna come up to PBTS and destroy us, telling us how we were "living in the past", "no longer relavent", and things of that nature. What happened you ask? Well, let's just say 34-0. with our subs in midway through the 3rd QT.

Jason Hall has done a nice job with the Tigers. The history says that they are very good. Is this the year they win a state champoinship? on the field that is?

Is that any different than losing and showing no class? Steuby got beat, so Dover had to be lucky to win it?

With that being said...GO TIGERS IN 2011! :D
