Furthermore, right after he mentioned starting on next year, he mentioned how dedicated the staff was, so how do you know he wasn't talking about the staff starting on next year? My goodness you people will just find ANYTHING to cry about.

Weight training does not start until after the first of the year (After playoffs and banquet). That should satisfy that 28 day clause.Mr. Football;550572 wrote:2010-2011 GENERAL SPORTS REGULATIONS
OHSAA SPORTS REGULATIONS
8. Mandatory No Contact Periods — Coaches
8.1) Any coach, paid or volunteer, shall be approved by the Board of Education to coach football,
soccer, field hockey, volleyball, basketball, or ice hockey and is prohibited from athletic or
athletic-related contact with squad members (i.e., physical fitness, weight training, open
gym, etc.) in the same sport for the period of time starting with the first day after the
school’s last interscholastic contest and ending 28 days later. This includes any type of
tryouts in or out of school for purposes of non-interscholastic competition. It also includes
verbal contact which encourages, discusses or promotes any activity related to the sports
named above.
How can Big Red coaches start working with players this week ?
This is a direct violation of the OSHAA SPORT REGULATIONS

For example, a "hater" would be one who blindly accuses Catholic schools of recruiting without any proof...simply because they are jealous of programs that win. That, IMO, is the definition of a "hater."
